Yeah me too. I guess I saw a different game than those who are all the sudden high on Beathard. He played a 23 ranked D and turned the ball over 3 times.

He didn't get adequate protection from the OLine.

Fake news is real.

Lol. Nfl trying to help us out?

Can you imagine the repercussion if it were to actually happen? So much credibility would be lost. It's totally fake news.

I dunno man NFL is shady as f**k.
C.J. can ball out if the line blocks and receivers catch

Yeah, it's a shame that we continue to have OL issues when CJ starts.

SANTA CLARA – Four of the next six weeks, the 49ers will be featured on prime time, available to national television audiences.
The potential star power of Jimmy Garoppolo will not be on display, as Garoppolo underwent season-ending surgery this week to repair a torn ACL in his left knee.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported this week that NFL officials would like the 49ers to trade for Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Nick Foles in order to draw better TV ratings. The 49ers' first prime time game is scheduled for Week 6 in Green Bay on "Monday Night Football." The 49ers then face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night in Week 7, the Raiders in Week 9 on Thursday night, and the New York Giants in Week 10 on Monday night.

This is from an article in the newsfeed. Pretty outrageous if it is true. The idea of the league having any say at all over who should play where so that their ratings don't drop would certainly signal the beginning of the end. Might as well just give all the players knifes and rename it the Hunger Games

Ratings go through the roof if the game announcers start calling Beathard —Beat Hard. The power of splitting his name is like the power unleashed splitting atoms

the disrespct on beathard. Really interesting that Foles is the guy that people want to see cause that whole super bowl run was a fluke imo.

What? 3x? The picks weren't on him and it was 2. Where's the 3rd from?

Hopefully the 9ers can get a 1st or 2nd round pick for him one day.

This is Beathard's chance to shine and if he can help guide the 9ers to maybe 7-9, teams may give the 9ers a call next off season!! Green Bay could use a good back up QB.

We can use a good back up QB, too.
CJ Beasthard.
Although the game sealing play is one where Jimmy likely gets the ball out in time, Beathard did a couple things I hadn't seen Jimmy do yet, and that's deliver accurate deep passes and show a willingness to step into hits while keeping sound footwork in the pocket to make a play.

I hope Beathard continues to build on what he did last week to push Jimmy to be even better.
CJ (tough) Basthard.
