Fantastic...

Good to know young QB's dont even know what the heck is going on, and are just praying the one route they remember gets open.

He is so good he ran down the sideline and blew his knee out without contact

Which has what to do with how good he is as a QB?

"Dude got injured! He SUCKS!"

You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don't have the durability, or even worse the mental awareness to protect yourself then you're no better than a cheerleader on the sideline.

I can understand if he was in the pocket and someone rolled over his knees...but this was all on Jimmy.
Jimmy did go retard at the end of 1 play, and it cost him.

CJ needs to be smarter too. He got injured last year also. Both qb need to stop running, juking like Steve Young.

I like CJ's approach to the game. He slings it. He's not great and is definitely a #2. But thats the type of replacement QB we need to win games. We cant use a QB that just gets us 5 yard completions. Our D is too soft for that.

They are different...one is showtime with strippers and porn stars the other already has a family and walks a runway with a cancer surviver. As football players it means nothing.

It was a joke about how Jimmy's knee is amputated. Of course he can't walk with needy children.

Because Beathard already has a hot gf, and doesn't need pornstars.

Maybe CJ needs to hook Jimmy up since he's struggling.

This is why you can't listen to the ignorant individuals who are oblivious to a lot of factors affecting one's play and call a player garbage in his rookie season, despite statistically outperforming many of the other top quarterbacks in the league by comparison to their rookies years. Not to mention doing so while trying to operate what is widely known as the most complicated scheme in the NFL and do it with an incredibly weak supporting cast missing linemen and receivers.

Matt Ryan was confused with this playbook for a year and he had a top core of playmakers around him.

Exactly. This team has holes, yes, but we also have talent at a number of areas. QB, RB, TE, DT and LB are the top five.

We do still need a big time receiver, pass rusher, tight end depth, and upgrades on the OL and linebacker depth. We have talent at DB but we need players to step up and emerge this year as well as to stay healthy and show consistency. Otherwise we'll need to look to the draft for new starters there too.

Yeah but if he really cared, he'd be out there in a wheelchair.

probably roll off stage trying to get a few more feet and and injure his neck
The last 5 pages of this thread are comedy.

No one is saying Beathard is better than Jimmy. No one is even saying Beathard is as good as Jimmy. People (myself included) are simply saying he did a great job this past week and the passing offense didnt look any worse from a production standpoint than it has in any Jimmy start this season.

Jimmy is the better quarterback. I will repeat....Jimmy is the better QB.

But Beathard played his ass off and was a big reason we were even in that game.
