kylef**ked us by burning our time outs. the pick was not on him in my opinion but bottom line. we found a way to lose a winnable game
Most definitely lost a winnable game. Something the Niners are all to good at. Shanny has a lot of work to do. I really wouldn't want to be in his shoes. But he took this nightmare, so he better be living at headquarters to get it figured out. Soon i hope. Loss wasn't on CJ. That kid is one tough sob.

remember when a few weeks ago people in here were wanting us to go with Mullens as the #2 lol

side track for a bit... given cj is the new starter do you think he gets most of practice reps . do you think nick gets alot in practice . do you think after the scare of cj going down yesterday the coaches will increase the work load of the kid? do you think the team will bring a qb like last week and sign one.. i did not mean to put you under the gun?? lol. just wondering aloud as long as you brought up the kid

My guess would be we sign Simms since he was with Kyle in ATL. Simms is the #3 to help Mullens, just in case.

Anybody putting that loss on CJ shouldn't be aloud to like watch football again

And you shouldn't be allowed to post if you can't spell!

then cc should have been banned years ago

We finally agree. I thought CJ looked remarkably quick when he took off running.

do not want him doing that but like jimmy. that line even when healthy is crap in pass protection.

CJ has matured into a pretty darn good NFL qb. Was getting killed back there. At least one of those picks wasn't on him. San Diego scored points on like 5 straight drives. He is one tough kid

CJ is a gamer. We can win with him.

Agree

Much better than last year and he didn't get a lot of help from the Oline.

Ultimate backup... I see him becoming a HEAD COACH..
yes he can get hit, but he did not play well by any stretch of the imagination yesterday. we've gotten so used to s**tty offense that you guys are excited about this dude?
The offense did enough to win, and CJ was a huge part of that considering we had a nearly nonexistent running game. I was throughly impressed with his progression(assuming this is who he is now, which is by no means a definitive thing). Although, it won't be enough to get us to .500, the amount of injuries and the lack of pass defense and tackling is going to haunt us for the entire year.

No one is "excited" about how he played. To say he did not play well by any stretch of the imagination yesterday is absurd. He played fine. Not amazing. Not bad. Fine. Like I said last night, you could make a logical argument that yesterday was the best game a Niner quarterback has played all season long.

This, I don't consider him a starter but love having him as a backup that could win games with the right team around him.
