I'm all for this. Hell....if no improvement in the 1st half of Thursday's game...start CJ in the 2nd half. Maybe that'll light a fire under Hoyer.
Just about what I expected from him. But at the same time, it can be A LOT worse.

See: Blaine Gabbert, JT O'Sullivan, Chris Weinke, Troy Smith, Ken Dorsey, Cody Pickett
Every QB we've had since 2004 have been complete garbage, why in the world would anyone WANT them back is beyond me,unless you'd like to get mocked & laughed at by the NFL world . Whether it's Kirk or a rookie, we'll have our QB next year

We replace kap (trash) with Hoyer (more trash) lol

So swapping trash for more trash isn't going to change anything. We need a real quarterback, not an athelete playing QB or Hoyer lol both are crap in my opinion.

Most QBs can win with the most talented roster in football for a few years, but the great ones continue to do well and carry the team through the tough times.

Kap proved to be nothing more than a game
Manager on a good team, Hoyer is a journey man for a reason.

EFF THEM!

Kap doesn't know Shanny's offense. It'll take him 5 years just to learn it. We should trade for Matt Schaub.

What is the benefit of having a terrible an who cannot be execute an offense? Houser and Schaub might know the lingo and the playbook but it really doesn't seem to matter.

What matters is a QB who can actually call the plays in the huddle and knows what he's doing. It's about laying the foundation for the other 10 guys for the future.

It sure would be nice if that guy could execute too but for whatever reason, the dude just seems frozen in time...some kind of psychological block.

No, no Schaub knows the system even more than Hoyer. We should trade a 2nd to the Falcons for him. Forget talent, what we need is a QB any really, that knows Shanny's winning system. Afterall Matt Ryan and the Falcons are virtually useless without Shanny this season on offense.

No words lol

False. Alex Smith is balling it up in KC. He was only garbage here because we went through 6 offenses in 6 seasons.

He's canon fodder, but I think Kyle thought Hoyer could repeat the remedially palpable success he showed in Chicago before injury. Again, this guy was replaced by Mark Sanchez in Chicago, that's how good the air Hoyer show is.

Next time the 49ers give him a ride along interview in a truck, I hope they drop him off in the woods afterwards.
