no it is not lol....Saleh basically begged for the DC job. He was NEVER the 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice. The issue was Kyle had to coach all the way through the SB and at that point every single solid coordinator had been scooped up. Saleh was originally slated to be the LBer coach. (there's a article stated all of this from Saleh). I there there was a little more to hiring Ken Norton as the LBer/assistant HC then people think.

I also think one of the major issues is we have a lot of 1st time guys here....1st time HC, 1st time DC, 1st time "GM" (they actually have a couple solid guys around Lynch) etc...We need a Wade Phillips type of DC, someone with some proven success. I got my eye on Todd Bowles if he's gone after this yr.

I wont argue any of that.

Its frustrating because Kyle is very good with offense imo, but the defense is an anchor dragging him down.

Fake news. Saleh was the 3rd or 4th option,at a point where any decent coordinators were already off the table. Kyle tried his hardest to recruit Gus Bradly before eventually choosing the Chargers. Maybe Saleh sticks around until the end of the season, but if the defense continues to play this poorly and with no Jimmy G to bail him out this time. Saleh won't last

One thing people tend to do is to immediately assume someone is regressing because they suddenly suck.

Don't count out the fact that both Colbert and Witherspoon have been injured, possibly those kind of quieter injuries that will mess with their heads.

Wait until the end of the year before chopping their heads off.

I don't know about that. But whatever he hid my posts.

I know he is not here anymore but Borland if he would have stayed was going to be one of the best LB's to come along in a long time. Seemed like he never missed a tackle. Some of these whipper snappers could learn a lesson or two from him.
