My main takeaway. The INT was a whatever thing to me I've seen veterans do the same damn thing. But if he was facing a good pass rush he would have been getting destroying. Which would have led to him hurrying throws and possibly leading to more interceptions.

And I'm not gonna hate on that OL because he's got some solid guys in there.

I'm not hating on Kizer I'm just not gonna be wowed by any QB in preseason. This is a evaluation time period for teams so they put players in more 1 on 1 situations then they normally would in an actual game with game planning. Like the hate on Rashard Robinson after he gave up that deep ball to Tyreek Hill who might be the fastest player in the NFL. If any fan thinks for 1 second Robinson would not have deep safety help in a real game then they need to educate themselves.

Good pass rush? He played one of the best in the league. What are you talking about? And last week he was blitz and pressured more than any other QB.

Did JPP play? Did Vernon play? Plus as I stated earlier I'm not going to be wowed by any QB picking apart basic defenses that aren't running any trap coverages and running basic zone and man defenses. Look I get it you wanted the niners to draft Kizer but they didn't and your constant puffing out your chest over every completion won't change s**t. I don't sit in Jason Verrett, Noah Spence, Tavon Young, Ronald Darby forums constantly bringing up players we should have drafted or traded up for. I'm glad for u that he has looked decent and you get to say told you so. Until bullets start really flying I would tone it down cause if he sucks it up in regular season people will not let you forget how you thought he was a pro bowler in pre season. Let the stories of BJ Daniels and Nate Davis be cautionary tales for overreaction

3 games at Safety and he has as many interceptions as he had in college. Peppers is going to be better than people thought

Exactly, thats what happens when you are that talented and don't have to play 15 positions in the nfl.

"He's another Josh Gordon ... I've seen it first-hand from a different vantage point, and it's the same thing all over again. How are you already high out of your mind, and you've only been here for a week."

"While Hue Jackson initially said that he would play strong safety, the promise Peppers has shown at free safety is an interesting development for the Browns. If he continues to play well in deep zone, in addition to contributing around the line of scrimmage and in the box, Peppers could not only prove his pre-draft doubters wrong, but be a case study for the rest of the league for years to come."

CLEVELAND BROWNS

Jabrill Peppers, S: The rookie safety is settling in nicely as the Browns' designated playmaker in the back end. Peppers showed outstanding anticipation, awareness and ball skills snagging a red-zone interception on an overthrown ball from Jameis Winston. He also flashed a high-revving motor and natural diagnostic skills roaming from numbers to numbers as an alley player against the run. With Peppers beginning to deliver impact plays as a deep-middle defender and return specialist (see previous games), the Browns are poised to unleash a two-phase star on the rest of the league. Grade: A-

"Browns Rookie Tracker: DeShone Kizer, Jabrill Peppers were busy in NFL debuts"

"Jabrill Peppers: S/PR/KR: Peppers started at safety as the Browns opened the game with three cornerbacks. He was soon joined by Derrick Kindred. Peppers played all 60 snaps on defense and tied for the team lead with four solo tackles. Peppers had three punt returns, including a 25-yarder, and one kickoff return for 14 yards. He muffed one punt, but recovered it."

At least other rookies are consistently playing good since coming into the NFl, against a high powered offense in their debut. Where my Pepper haters at? It's not preseason anymore? But. But, but, but.....

I wonder why most hated him? Could it be blinded by Harbaugh's hatred? Tisk, tisk, tisk.

Do not let your hatred for Harbaugh blind you from talent... Trust me I can see how difficult it is for some. Didn't look high all the time from these stats? Maybe he hides the codeine in his socks? Who knows?? NFL should check into that. After all that reporter said so it must be true.. "He won't last the whole season"

Straight pathetic and embarrassing...

(Thanks Jed York for the culture of hate you instilled here)

He had 4 tackles. Let's wait till he has a great game before wanting to talk s**t. Cause he only had 4 tackles.

I've been saying it since day one, It's the norm to shoot him down.. That's the norm around here... Wait wait... Then when we wait... It's let's move on... Same s**t with Baalke.. We protected Baalke so long we let him destroy this team for years... (Lynch and Shanny has years of s**t to haul out and repair) until it was like it's a new era let's move on lol so conveniently

Wait. Wait move on.. You can't skip reflection, you learn from mistakes not cover them up. It's a trend around the country. If you don't learn from your mistakes you tend to repeat them. Our motto is wait, wait move on. Sad if you ask me.

What team has a better set of wr core than Pittsburgh right now?
