Um Seattle won 2 games on makeable missed field goals. That was a 9-7 team.

I wouldn't call having one of the worst damn calls from the refs that gave Seattle the ball back on their last drive to be a break.

Refs were garbage all around in that game, Just the Wilson factor alone gives them a big time advantage which sucks.
Hopefully Warner and Greenlaw can both school Wilson's ass again like we did up in Seattle. But he's so damn squirrelly he's hard to contain especially when Bosa gets held on every other play

I get that you're a trolling Seahawks fan but whining about refs and arguing about breaks really doesn't work in your favor, as the math on this is pretty simple.

The Seahawks were 10-2 in one score games last year. Being as generous as you can possibly be winning one score games amounts to about 5% skill and 95% luck. What that means is that regardless of if they went 10-2 or 2-10 in one score games in any given year, the next year they're likely to regress to the mean, meaning if they had the same number of 1 score games they'd be 6-6 in those games, or if you really want to be generous or ungenerous on the importance of one score games in future predictions, 7-5 or 5-7 in those games.

The Seahawks were 1-3 last year in games that WERE NOT 1 score games.

So let's be generous to them, meaning that all things being equal and with a generous regression to the mean we're talking about an 8-8 team that was overall quite lucky.

To be sure the 49ers were fortunate in one score games too (they ended up at 6-3), but all their losses were by one score. You project out with the same generosity and all things being equal they're 12-4.

If you're going to troll, you gotta bring more heat than insisting that the 49ers got all the breaks and the Seahawks didn't (it's just factually untrue) or whining about the refs. Pretending to be a fan of a different team is already pathetic, but being bad at it is pathetic on top of pathetic.

Wilson only played one quality half against us in 2 games. If Jimmy improves upon last year that effect will be mitigated.

Just like Mahomes only played 7 quality minutes in the SB. The problem is, those 2 guys make some really big pays when they play well instead of just chipping away. They can turn a game around in a heartbeat.

Agreed. I hate Wilson but he's a unique talent with a gorgeous money deep ball

Seattle hardly ever blows anyone out dating back to their LOB days. When you win a bunch of close games, attrition matters. Good teams win a bunch of close games.

Right. Had the 9ers mitigated that by playing better offense it wouldn't have mattered. That's the key going forward, Jimmy and the offense being consistent for 4 quarters and not allowing the opportunities to get back in.

It's less about Wilson and Mahomes and more about the 9ers.

So, WCO. Do you go back to .net and giggle with the boys? "Dudes, they have no idea I'm a hawk fan...giggle, giggle, giggle...9er fans are so dumb. Troll level 100..."

No lol
Bottom line is Jimmy would dominate if he had Seattle's receivers

Their receivers, QB, linebackers are all better and Seattle has Carson and Penny still at running back so I don't see them behind us at all. Especially considering we only won the division by a couple of inches and some would argue pi no call. Dude we couldn't even beat them when they had a healthy running back. We beat em barely against Homer and Lynch lol

They went 11-5 despite only having a +7 score differential. Compared to the Niners who had a +169

For teams with a winning record only Houston was worse than Seattle,.

This is one of the more annoying things about Seahawks fans. I've seen in a lot on .nut also. They talk about only being an inch from being the NFC West Champions, yet they disregard that they were two makable field goals from not even making the playoffs. That's why it's called a game of inches.

So heres the thing. Seattle DIDNT win the division and watched a franchise like the 49ers who have been a dumpster fire for 5 years go to the Super bowl. How pathetic is that considering Seattle is playoff bound every year yet can't seem to get past the 2nd round anymore?

No matter who Seattle gets, Carroll is now holding them back. His coaching style is no longer good enough to bring out super bowl caliber teams. And if Midget Wilson gets hurt, you're entire season will be gone. Seattle will not be able to compete without that guy.

Seattle over-achieved last year, more so than any team I've ever seen. 11-5 and had just a +7 differential? Holy s**t. Well, just was served and Seattle was ousted by a team that has owned them at Lambeau.

Also a side note, does anyone else think it's funny that Seattle has now gone from a defensive dominant team to an offensive team in the last 6 years? It's funny because leaning on Wilson only has made it so Seattle isn't a SB threat like they were when they had the legion of boom. Like I said, Seattle hasn't made it past the 2nd round since 2014.

Dorsett is. Dunbar is. Bruce Irving(area 51) and Reed were good pick ups. Aside from Warmack they signed a starting guard and center all within the past few days l. Schneider just knows how to stack

Dorsett isn't even a lock for their roster. Same with Warmack. Irvin hasn't been any good since he left Seattle. Dunbar can be solid but he isn't a difference maker.

Warnack sucks but Dorsett is a solid number 3 in their system he signed a one year deal

Dorsett has never had more than 33 receptions in a season. He'll make a few plays here or there but he won't make your offense better. Russill Wilson is the X-factor in that offense, nobody else.
