TRADED Rashard Robinson CB LSU - 4th Round pick - BYE RASHARD

It is seeming more and more likely that they are looking to 2017 for the QBOF, seeing this as the first year of a long term rebuild. Could Chip really be believing he is going to put this franchise on the shoulders of a resurrected Kap. He looked broken on all levels, not just physical last year. It's too early to get too conerned, but this places a yellow flag up for me.

Seems to be Baalke's motto.

He's going down firing.
Chip and baalke are obviously building the trenches this year and infusing our defensive back field with much needed size and speed to compete with the huge receivers in our division. I'm loving this draft. Kap Gabbert and a rookie will compete but this year will be about running the ball and defense and we will be a better team in the long run for it. We will still take a developmental qb in the coming rounds and probably a WR but so far so good.

Baalke is like a one trick pony. Only thing this guy was missing was a busted ACL - then again he hasn't had the playing time to get there with his arrest record.
i don't like this pick. however, one thing Baalke has certainly knowledge about is defense and DB in particular. so please, turn your arrogant volume down. thank you.

Hate this pick. This guy hasn't played in over a year, is a complete knucklehead, talented but a high character risk. With all of the DB's on this roster, did they really need yet one more?

I don't care about his upside, they could have gone with someone A LOT safer and still highly talented.

Yes we need more CB's. Baalke does not value them and lets them walk in free agency.

so that means we need 12 DBs? f**k the other positions, we'll just start converting our DBs into pass rushers and TEs.
How many "scrubs" has baalke brought in that turn out to be good DB's? U can say a lot of things about baalke but he knows how to draft/judge corners and safeties. This kid is tall, fast and aggressive. I'm excited to see how he develops

I get it.. problem is Baalke's history tells us that this types of picks.. do not pan out for us!
I'm an LSU homer and I really don't like this pick. Kind of a knucklehead thats probably going to let you down.

This. Your best odds of finding a QB are early in the 1st and I'm guessing that they already plan on this being a not-so-terrific season, leading to another high draft pick.
We took this guy over Prescott or Dixon? SMDH

I was loving this draft and then Baalke has to try to be smarter than everyone else. If he loves our young talent at that position so much (his quote) then WTF did we need to add 2 more players to it? Very disappointing day 2 and 3 for me.

Do we start the "Suck for Chad Kelly" thread now?
