Tartt has all the tools to play at ILB. The cards already did it with Deon and Bowman was a OLB before he was converted to ILB

None of that means that Tartt is transitioning into the ILB position.

I just posted that to combat your statement that you can't convert someone to ILB unless its in Madden. Because in the NFL you very well can. And with Bathea having a few years left in the tank and Reid entering his prime balkee should do all he can to have the best playmakers on the field

BTW its just speculation so chill fam.

I agree that Madden is fun. Especially franchise mode.

Yes because teams don't do this already. Drop an ILB for another DB. The Cards do it all the time. Mathieu plays all over the field as a safety. It's not a crazy thought that the 49ers can do it

Stop with the "Madden" references. A safety converting to LB isn't unheard of. See Deon Buchanon.

Tartt's bigger than Darron Lee, who was just drafted to play LB w/ the 20th pick.

Speculation qualifies your point much better. I never doubted position changes are possible, Thomas Davis is my favorite example of it's success. My point was toward its application to Tartt specifically and in actuality, without fan speculation.

olb and ilb are still bigger dudes around the same weight usually. tartt is a good sized dude but hes not big enough to be an ilb who has to go up against 250lb tight ends and fullbacks on every play

I never said it's unheard of. Throw in a Thomas Davis reference to make that point. And here's one more Madden reference for you. You've missed the point completely.
Walterfootball had Garnett, Redmond, and Robinson all going in the 3rd.
Interesting.

I enjoy looking at mock drafts. They usually have pretty good ones.

"You've missed the point completely" is a madden reference?

You're implying that a guy converting from safety to LB is a video-game-type event. No. 4 first-round picks and Joe Staley for Aaron Rodgers is a Madden-like proposition.

Here's the point, which you missed: As it currently stands: Tartt is NOT undergoing transition to the ILB position. The end.

The Madden-like proposition is the implication that Tartt is a realistic candidate for ILB simply because of Webzone fancies. In Madden, sure! Why not, right? But is it actually happening with Tartt as we speak?? We both know the answer to that. And here's yet another reference to Madden, just for you.

Wow, your posts are pretty incoherent. Nobody missed your point, so there's your first non-point. And nobody said this was GOING TO happen. It was said that is COULD happen.

-sigh-

P.S. You said "here's yet another reference to Madden" and then just ended your post without saying anything further. Like I said: incoherent (unless ending sentences with periods is a Madden reference).
