What a douche.

"They traded me to a team that goes to a SB every year, that has the winningest QB in NFL history, a guy that gets rid of the ball so fast that it makes all of his OL better...MAN THEY TRIED TO DESTROY ME!"

I blasted him on that one myself and he's my dude. I can't speak to how this was all handled in-house but given how bitter he is, it didn't sound like it was amicable at all. Whatever fuels him though. But he needs to shut his mouth and be grateful either way.

Current environment? I have no idea what that means.

Athletes have been leaning into imagined slights to motivate themselves for forever.

Heck, 20 years ago Shaq was running around telling anyone who would listen that David Robinson told him to f***k off when he asked for an autograph as a kid, and it was only much, much later that he admitted he made the whole thing up to motivate himself in his battles with Robinson.

"Current environment" has nothing to do with it.

If we were hoping to kill his career when we traded him, we wouldn't have traded him to ****ing New England lmao.

At least the 9ers gave him a chance, shoot, New England was the one that chose NOT to re-sign him.

I wonder if he's still salty. That trade got him a super bowl ring and a whole lot of money.
what is it with these Lineman that think they are owed the world?

Let's see what he says when that raiders ship sinks fast this season. No Pun intended.

Thing is, his attitude has a bit of entitlement.... you know, that entitlement that may convince one to skip a workout because they're a bit tired or grab an extra burger because they had a rough day...

Not good when those are the issues that pushed him into the 7th in the first place and convinced the 49ers that him being a long term investment may not work out too well.

I wonder if he thinks going to the Raiders is an upgrade? NE realized what the Niners saw. Big body but limited in skill. Also a possible weight problem.

He was not worth the money he was demanding.

It will be interesting to watch his weight this year.
What the f**k is his beef? We traded him to the champs and he got a mega deal with all that exposure.

Did he just want to rot away here or something and sign a s**tty team friendly deal?

Considering he looks to be about 450, I get the feeling he is going to always be bitter that the niners constantly wanted him to lose weight to fit the scheme better.

Not buying that.

Human Physiology currently still shows a hard slant to right handed humans.

As long as QBs are under center, the left side is going to be blind.

You as a 49er fan know FIRST HAND what happens to QBs that don't have the left side protected. You end up stuck with a 3 step offense.

Even the sample provided by Sam Monson, ignores 3 steps, because the VAST MAJORITY of passing plays start with a blind left side.

When you look at how our D-line is built, if we were to play Dee Ford and Bosa (If all the hype is real) on opposite sides of the D-line, then you would need two elite Tackles on either side of the ball in order to protect the QB, right?
