dude has been playing good imo. Hopefully it's just something that needs some rest
Yes, fingers crossed. Might be ok without him for next 2 games, but will need him vs Ravens.
Props to AA for gutting it out. Hope the big man can rest up a few weeks if necessary and we can continue rolling.
I don't know about giving props, sure we needed him but it seems he injured it even more and then added another injury on top of it.

Armistead man, there was a time where he was my least favorite draft pick. He never struck me as a guy that will put consistent effort on the field. But oh boy has he proven me wrong. He feels like the is getting better as he ages. He can definitely have a Calais Campbell length of a career if he stays healthy. He's not nearly as good as Calais, I think he will barely have over 60 career sacks, but he definitely deserves to be in the 49er hall of fame.

Having a good year, if he should miss some time, not bad timing.

Get him healthy for Baltimore on Xmas night, I think we're good against SEA & AZ.

I would sit him against Seattle. Eventually he's gonna need to heal up a little.

Agree, still plenty of games, we're in the last leg of a marathon 😉!

Such a tough decision. AA is so incredibly important on the D-line. But at the same time, we have depth. I'm inclined to say, if he's cleared to play, put him on a snap count.

lol I don't even know how to interpret this
Shanahan provided an update on Wednesday, saying, "It's not ACL, MCL, nothing I would be able to remember to tell you guys. I'd be surprised if he's ready this week. Still haven't ruled him out yet, but it might be a week or two."
When asked if the 49ers fear a long-term injury for Armstead, Shanahan responded, "I hope not. I can't rule him out for this week, but the fact that I'm saying already that I'd be surprised if he played this week, it's got to see how long it lasts."

Yea I don't think we need him to beat Seattle or AZ.

Yeah, we should have quality depth. Get Kinlaw in there so he can show off that contract year ratings boost.

We know he has had plantar fascia ligament issues in his feet before. That is something that can flare up anytime. When it does, it requires rest to settle down. I assume it has been addressed with proper shoes and footbeds to reduce the tug on the ligament. So, let him rest his feet and knees while we chew up a couple more birds and get ready for the black birds.
