Interestingly, the Rams doubled Hyder instead and handled AA one on one. That's pretty significant. Rams have a good OL, but it was frustrating seeing us miss a couple opportunities for sacks.

As far as pass rushing goes he's made his hay as a DT last yr.

We NEED another edge rusher so AA can go back inside. If we want to win this yr we should make a trade for say Kerrigan.

Armstead is one of the zones whipping boys lol. He's a good player, yeah he's not a double digit sack guy, but he's a key part of our defense.

Would certainly be cheaper than Whitney Mercilus who I've seen rumors of possibly get dangled.

No way in the world does LV trade away a young budding pass-rusher like Crosby.

You want to talk about a lot of cash and then not showing up. Armstead basically just robbing Jed.

2020 stats
Armstead: 1.5 sacks, 9 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 9 QB hits (4 games with 0)
Donald: 7.5 sacks, 11 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 14 QB hits (no games with 0), 2 forced fumbles

I think this move needs to be made especially if we cannot rely on Ford or we may not be with for next year

Then again since we already are without our third round pick next year there's no way we trade for a guy like this unless he comes really really cheap in terms of draft compensation which he won't. So I think this won't happen. It really sucks because I don't want to spend more draft capital on an edge rusher when we need to invest it in the offensive line or secondary

AA was the 3rd highest rated defender behind Verrett and Ward at 70%.
