Pretty good bet, considering Max alone missed 13 games in the last two (SB) seasons.

Zach Whitman @zjwhitman
The Seahawks finished 5th in offensive DVOA with bad OL injuries and the Harvin-tastrophe. They just added Jimmy Graham.

Do you think you have to remind us that the Seahawks went to the Super Bowl the last two years? This is why some people think you're trolling.

Lol ego feeding is what the 1-2s do best
Graham can't block he's soft too

i know it has been a depressing 2 days, but lay off the booze, it isnt healthy.
Urggg...dude's gonna be a 3rd-down machine in their system. Read option to Marshawn...no...Wilson on the scramble...no...little dunk pass to Graham for the 1st-down...sigh...
This play should work better now:

Time to clench up Mangenius
Time for Baalke to sign a cover-specialist at the Safety position.

You really shouldn't have written "at worst" because he's both at worst and at best the 2nd best TE in the league. Gronkowski is way better than him and Graham is way better than whoever the 3rd best TE in the league is. This guy can't hold Gronk's jock as a blocker and benefits statistically from playing in a dome in a passing offense with Drew Brees. I'd take Gronk as a receiver over Graham as a receiver and again, it's not close.

Gronk >>>>>>>>> Graham >>> any other TE in the league

seems the only comparison that matters to the Hawks is that Graham >>>>> any other TE (or WR, for that matter) on the Hawks and apparently worth the risk of losing a 1st-rounder and an aging, ailing, albeit pro-bowl, center . . .

I agree with that and think it's a good move for the Seahawks. I was just pointing out that he shouldn't phrase it like there's a debate about who the best TE in the league is. There is no debate and that's not to take anything away from Graham. Gronk is by far the best player to ever play the TE position. The Seahawks are going to be among the favorites to get back to the Super Bowl.

Gronk is NOT the best player to EVER play the TE position.
This guy ABSOLUTELY destroys the 9ers every time he plays us.

Yet we still win. He doesn't have Bree's throwing to him anymore.

Well, some people would be wrong (at least about my intent)
My point was that the Hawks made it as far as you can get in the NFL despite their pro-bowl center missing 13 games in those two years.

Now, is that to say all will be hunky-dory from here on out? No. Just means they were able to adapt and adjust.
And, likely also means that the O-Line will be a top priority in the draft (which was likely anyway, heard Max could have been a cap casualty even if he hadn't been traded and Carp's also gone . . .)

Was Unger out for the playoffs those two seasons? It's one thing to miss him during the season

How many elite teams did they face during his injuries?

He is and it's not close. He could retire tomorrow and I would feel the same. He may never have the longevity of a Tony Gonzalez, but he's the best player to ever play the position. No one has combined his size, athleticism, blocking, and receiving ability.
Is Graham a good run blocker? . I didn't take notice on his run blocking skills when the 9ers played them.

He is 1 or 2... Gronk, Tony, Antonio Gates, Shannon Sharp...

Unger was out for both the games against the Niner's last year. Really didn't make a difference.

Uhhh...you must have just started watching football 5 years ago. Even for Gronk's highly specialized skill set, there have been players who have done what he does on a higher level. You also forgot (or are completely unaware of) the state of defensive football in the modern era, of which Gronk's stats are the beneficiary of. He is a product of the modern game and is absolutely not the GOAT of TEs in the NFL.
