Jimmy Graham to be traded to Seattle Seahawks

Blah blah blah. Lynch will not do,as well without that OL. their offense may suffer, especially if Wilson passes more......that's a good thing

The Seahawks finished 5th in offensive DVOA with bad OL injuries and the Harvin-tastrophe. They just added Jimmy Graham.

Good point, will be interesting to see how this works out. But damn, Wilson is happy right now.

And Seattle still has to get Russell Wilson signed for the 20125 season and beyond.

I don't even get it. They are at $137M BEFORE they update Graham's deal ($11-10M)...maybe the restructure will get them under the $143M but there will be no money left for anything else, let alone a $130M QB.

If I'm the Seahawks, I strongly consider letting Wilson walk next season if he wants more than $20 million per season. Graham at $10 million per year isn't a bad deal and will help whoever plays QB a lot. Wilson probably puts up even better numbers this year and leads them to another Super Bowl, so he won't come cheap. They have a really good shot at another championship this year if they can shore up their offensive line.

I like the Saints resigning Ingram and using Stills and Cooks in Paytons offense.For Seattle its scary to think what they could be but this could backfire but I would have taken that chance if I were them as well.Win win

You guys are grasping at straws. Besides being at worst the second best TE in the league, Graham gives Seattle a top target in the red zone who happens to be a matchup nightmare (which they have desperately needed) and an elite first receiving option for their passing offense. This is a HUGE deal for Seattle.

Willis gone, can't assume Bow will come back and be at the level he was pre-injury, and Borland is a liability in coverage...you should be worried. Beast Mode is already a load, now Graham. Oof.

Sure they gave up their pick and lost a lot of depth on their o-line but it's highly unlikely they get an elite talent and player like Graham at 31. Free agency just started and the draft is around the corner to shore up depth on their OL.

Seattle wins this trade easily.

He's also a dick with a huge ego. He'll be demanding the ball. He'll be frustrated. Wilson will not be Brees. He'll be asked to block with that shoulder of his. Frankly, I'm surprised that the Seahawks are spending this kind of money on him. Doesn't seem like a good fit to me.
