This bum was a failure as DC at New England. Jesus christ I hate this FO more every single day. Really hope our best players leave for free agency soon. Then we'll see how good these bum coaches are.
If Fewell comes in too than its a diverse/experienced group on the defensive side. If Chud or Kiffin get added to the mix than its a pretty solid staff in my opinion.
Your name says everything you need to know about this coaching staff.

I'm pretty sure (hoping) Mangini will be mainly in lieu of the secondary coach. If you have Tarver coaching the LB's. Tomsula presumably with input on the DL, then that leaves Mangini with the secondary where he has had the most successful experience winning two Super Bowls.

If they hire Fewell as secondary coach, that would be terrific.

Lol at people saying this is a bad move.
What has Manigina ever done in NE? Ask any Pats fan, he was garbage and a rat. Ask any CLeveland/Jets fan. Same thing. Hes garbage, garbage, garbage...

While I do not love the hire I also do not hate it.
He must have done something to get a promotion from assistant to coordinator under BB. He was then a DC with the Pats for one year before getting a HC'ing gig. The D finished middle of the pack but were ravaged by injuries...they did fine vs the run but struggled vs the pass without Ty Law and Rodney Harrison.

Oh, and everyone must read that excerpt from Nate Jackson's book.
