I love the hire, there I said it. Couple with Tarver and Sparano and I'm happy!!!! I think we are adding a lot of tough mindedness and attitude to our team. If you are judging this guy from coaching TEs last year then your comments are irrelevant.

What if your judging the guy based on the numbers?

Wow

I was upset when they hired him as TE, based on the fact that he would always hate on 9ers, during his time on Fist Take. Just think Jaime Dukes/Florio/TK type hating.

Now, he's the OC, great. Not looking forward to this upcoming season at all.

Mangini...really? Probably the only guy left who would want to work with this org. It's just ridiculous.

Jed/Baalke made this decision. I think Tomsula found out via the media.

Continues to confirm there are two bums running this org.

Can't wait for the OC hire. That will be difference maker...that will take the 49ers to the SB L win

If he can co exist with Tomsula, it might be a solid hire when you add guys like Tarver etc.

Lets not forget Fangio was not exactly considered a top flight DC when he came here. He had bottom 5 defenses in points allowed 4 out of how many years he coached prior to the 49ers.

Fangio did a great job here, but he was more than inconsistent prior to SF.

Sometimes things just work. Hopefully JT and Mangenious can make it work.

We keep saying this too....well it isn't great, but maybe the next guy we add will make it better. The disconcerting thing is we are running out of guys to add. Maybe through strange alchemy this all melds into a great staff, but on paper it just keeps getting less and less inspiring.
