I agree. I will never understand this move. This was an Earnest Byner like fumble. We had good offensive minded coach in hand, and I think Vic would've stayed on under those circumstances.

I heard Vic was content as a defensive coordinator. Which seems likely after the 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 season when he never interviewed for a HC position. And he's still a DC now connected to 0 possible HC positions.
