How long will the Seahawks Dominate our division

It's very hard to start on top. Everybody is shooting at you. They want what you got.

To begin, both Bevell and Quinn, especially Quinn, will be considered for HC jobs this off-season. Losing either or both of them would be a blow. Quinn not so much since Carroll is a strong defensive mind.

Lynch is unique, irreplaceable. However, Turbin and Michael are about the same size as Lynch and are not chopped liver. They can still run the ball without Lynch, though he is a game-changer. Their OL, when healthy, is a good run blocking group.

Wilson is also a unique player. He is a better QB than a lot of folks around here think. They will bring in a couple of WRs (draft/FA) for Wilson to throw to and whatever they might miss without Lynch will be made up in the passing game, IMO. Wilson is not likely to demand a lot of money. He will get a nice check but I suspect Kaep's contract will have some weight.

Defense is the key to that outfit. They just have a ton of talent, speed and depth on that side of the ball.

As long as they stay healthy, no small task, all roads go through Seattle.

What a lot of people don't realize is how young Seattle is. You're talking about core players 24-25 yrs old on or about to receive 2nd contracts. It doesn't hurt that they play in a desirable location, with a player-friendly coach and an owner that has a lot of cabbage.
as long as russell wilson is their qb, they will be good for a long time to come.

i'm jealous of wilson's poise and elusiveness. makes kaep look like a jv starter

Merry Christmas you guys! May this rivalry be long lived!

Go Hawks!
Dominate? They are still in the running and won by a game last year. Mind you they were a half game short in 2012. I don't think they will ever dominate, but they will be competitive for a few years. Wilson and that damn defense are just so young.

It won't be anything like the 2000s when they were resting players with 10-6 and 9-7 records. In 2005 I think they wrapped up the division in week 12 or something like that. That is HILARIOUS. I expect it to be tough for them every year with this division now.

They could meltdown with any number of injuries, but I wouldn't count on it. If they have another strong draft in the next 2 years it could get ugly. Fricking devil dealing going on there. 3rd round QB, 5th, 6th and 7th round defensive players. Unreal. And Luke fricking Wilson? How did we see VMac and not see that guy?

They have to be the luckiest drafting team in the league. I think Maxwell was like a 6th round player. Sherman a 5th.. WTH????
God I hate them!! Here in Seattle they say they are built for a four to six year run. I'd say they are in year 3 now. I can see three more. Every time wilson takes off running I hope someone just *uckin flattens him!!! I'm serious! It hasn't happened yey an I hope it will!!! Kap has better tools and should be leading wilson in every category. This year Kap plays like a tool!! Why cant he run straight ahead thru the hole in front of him like last year??? Or throw the ball away?? How come he forgot how to do that?? I thought when the seathaks lost tate, bryant, and harvin they would be in trouble. NOT! Pisses me off!! I can see three more good years and then salary demands, defections, and injuries taking there toll sooner or later We can be just as good with better coaching and conditioning. Why so many injuries?? Bad conditioning!!!

It's not just about physical tools. If it was, Brady would never have made New England's roster, let alone been drafted. Ryan Leaf was physically superior to Peyton Manning in nearly every measurable, but was a mental midget. The head is hard to quantify. Everyone drooled over Mike Vick and JaMarcus Russell. The other side of things is when you get a case like Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith. Smith was considered a more finished, and honestly, smarter prospect, while Rodgers, who was considered to have a higher ceiling, tumbled. We all know how that wound up.
Imo you people are selling your 49ers out
There are coaches out There better than harbaugh and baalke will get him
Next year we'll have a healthy team back on the field along with a few free agents and a nice draft.... we'll be kicking Seattle's ass....remember it's not the noise in Seattle that bothers us it's our offensive execution and with better coaching and a good off- season i really believe we'll be back to super bowl form

Lynch carries that team and is the main reason they have beaten us in the past. Wilson is good but if teams stop worrying about the run game he will have to throw to average wideouts without a crowded box.
We'll see how good they are without Lynch next year

Turbin has proved to be a viable replacement for lynch. Of course, not as beastly, but running backs are usually pretty easy to replace. Now if they lost Wilson, different story. That midget makes everything click.

Yes to all the above.

In 2011, Marshawn Lynch ran for 1204 yards and 12 TDs. The defense was 7th in the league in yards and points allowed. That team finished 7-9 with Tavaris Jackson at QB for 15 games. Seattle's offensive rank that year was 23rd. One year later, it was ranked 9th. The only major difference was Russell Wilson at QB. If Seattle could win with any schlub at QB, they would have been competitive in 2011.

Sherman is garbage. The most overrated player in the NFL. The team has a great front and are very hard to run against. They rush the passer as well. Earl Thomas is a truly great Hall of Fame type player in my mind. Sherman benefits from all the talent around him and it's his motor mouth with gives him all the attention. He just sits back and plays zone all day against offenses that have to throw because their ground game is going nowhere.

Put him on a team like Tampa Bay and he would be exposed as the no talent hack he is.
