They're a young team and seem like they don't have very many weaknessess on either Offense or Defense. Sure wish we had a QB like Russell Wilson

Could be a long time. I believe every starter is under 30 and most are signed long term.
pray that Lynch goes elsewhere or retires
The way the NFL is set up 3 years tops. You have to have luck to get that far, and take into account jealousy, someone getting paid more than you. One thing for sure, things fall apart quickly.

Who knows?

The NFL changes rapidly. What seems like a dynasty could only last a few years, and what seems like a doormat could become a contender overnight.

They have a very good QB, the best defense, best workhorse RB in the NFL, and they're young. That should keep them around for a while, but the division is very winnable if our own team is making the right moves. We're not far off at all.
2nd post eh?

What are you talking about?

New England with Brady has been by and large dominating that division for 12 years. Indianapolis with Peyton Manning did it for the same amount of time. Green Bay has dominated the NFC North. The common thread is a great QB. Expect the Colts to continue their dominance over the AFC South for many years to come with Andrew Luck.

As for Seattle, Russell Wilson is right now the best QB in the division. And he's primed for a very long career.

No doubt having a great QB puts you in position to win the division consistently. Brady and Manning certainly did that, but it also had to do with the other teams in the division never getting their s**t together. The Jets, Dolphins, Bills, Jaguars, Texans, Titans....that was their competition. Not minimizing what they did, they are great, but the divisional battles would have been more interesting if their opponents weren't some of the most dysfunctional franshises in the sport.

Ultimately, the 49ers can't really control what Seattle does. They have their pieces in place and their success is earned. The 49ers have to do the same. Just worry about ourselves and building the team the right way. We can compete with these guys for the division. No doubt in my mind.

As long as they have their core defensive players and Lynch they'll be contenders. I don't think Wilson is that huge of an ingredient....Chacellor, Sherman, Earl Thomas, Bennett etc.

If our QB can find a way to pass on them things would change next season. They have an edge in QB play but Wilson still isn't exactly a consistant dominant force in the passing game. He's good but not elite. They'll probably draft or bring in WR's from FA this offseason. That should help Wilson out some, but as soon as Lynch leaves that team their offense is in trouble. Wilson has a lot of success based off the run.

Niners the same. If we could establish the run against the stacked box it would help Kap with play action, roll outs etc. Kap has to learn how to make teams pay for stacking the box though. It's hard to establish the run running into brick walls. With 2 teams that have great defenses the edge goes to the team with the better QB and running game.

The Cards and Rams are dangerous long term if they figure out a more consistant QB situation. Bradford and Palmer aren't reliable. Heck, Wilson could get hurt at any moment.

Guess I'm thinking about winning Super Bowls, all the division titles for Peyton and one ring. Brady hasn't won in over a decade.
Their in very good cap space right now..http://overthecap.com/salary-cap/seattle-seahawks/...that will change when Wilson and lead players get real contracts or bolt for teams that will pay.
