In all honesty, the right thing to do if Davis does indeed move the franchise out of California is to change the name completely and start fresh (like Cleveland Browns to Baltimore Ravens '96).

Eventually there can be a new team in Oakland. It makes sense actually since then you have a relocated franchise, and a new stadium can be built and eventually a "new" Raiders franchise can be brought back.

Say the Raiders moved from OAK then there would be good reason. It would be because the city and its leaders could not help Davis build Coliseum City and/or help him to build a suitable venue to play in. If they can't get this done for Davis' Raiders then when and for whom will they ever get this done? The Raiders belong to Al Davis and NOT the city of OAK. If they want the Raiders then now is their chance because one Davis leaves the Raiders name goes with him

NO! That means all those knuckleheads will become "niner fans".

In future news:

The rate of arrests, stabbings and crack useage amongst 49er fans has skyrocked since the Raiders moved to San Antonio.

In other news, San Antonio is now the crime capitol of the US.
Hmmmmm...

Why should Oakland get a new team? Won't happen. The age of expansion is passed.

I don't care where the Raiders go. The old team under Madden and Flores, which I kinda liked, is a long distant memory.

Just go to LA! Magic Johnson approves of this message. GTFO of the Bay Area you scum!
So glad I'm not a raiders fan. K bye.

Couldn't help but notice that at the latest brawl between the Cowboys and Raiders, a Raider fan took a swing at a Cowboy player with a Raider helmet. Classic.

More football talent comes outta Florida than any other state.
Warriors leaving, Raiders (even though I hate them) one foot out the door basically. Not good for Oakland. At least the A's still here.
Is the NFL's strategy to move all the sh*tty teams to one state? What about the El Paso Bills and Corpus Christi Browns? The Waco Vikings?
