Yes, but I would rather run, run, run, punt then throw 3 picks and run Kap. Hindsight!!!

You got a point there, can't argue with that.

Basically, just do what Frank said we should do when we were struggling last season. OK if teams want to stuff 8 in the box, let's add extra big bodies on the line and pound it until we get through. Promote Gaskins (another big body) from the PS so we have enough RBs to run by committee and just pound the crap out of the opposing D-line. Once we can establish the run we can open up the playbook more, otherwise teams will now know just shut down our run game and force us to throw into turnovers.

20-7 at halftime...........we shouldve fed Hyde the ball 20 more times to soften up the defense and protect the lead.

if my math is correct, he was averaging 0 yards per carry, so 20 more carries would've resulted in zero yards

every running lane he had kap took the run instead on the option to get 0 yards. he is a traditional back as well, use him to destroy the bears defensive line..

4 carries is not enough. gore's 13 was criminal

Other teams are staking the box forcing them to pass bro even when they lead the Oline has been in decline since last year

they don't seem to have a problem rushing kap on designed runs 9-10 times out of the option... instruct him to give it to hyde
teams try to stack the box.. last game we destroyed that concept of stacking it with uptempo spread and even in those situations we could still soften them up with carries by hyde out of those spread formation looks...

-lb's on the field and hyde against db's?
you see what he does to db's....

Those plays are designed to try to open lanes for the RB but they have not worked our oline is the issue and you have to remember the Cardinals were the hardest team to run on expect and easier time with the Eagles

i don't have a problem with our plan of attack against the cardinals specifically.
i have more of a problem against the bears and not using him against that suspect defense....which is suspect against the run but had just spent a week preparing for the read option than i am this past week.

we still have a problem with working everyone in there. if we just were intent on making sure EVERYONE got touches and everyone got worked into the game plan in some way each week...you couldn't prepare for us.

instead we get "it" guys where we anoint 1 person per week.. its frustrated
use all of the talent at all times or there's no point in having it.
Anxious to see his growth in this offense, especially out of more traditional sets.

We had both our TE's out as well which the game plan had to be different imo

again, we did what we were supposed to against the cardinals. we passed them to death but didn't do the type of passes consistently to win. we needed to keep running no huddle. kap had total command got us to the line made the calls read the defense and dropped the throws in there. we should have just ran that all game. the only counter they had was to blitz but as long as it was picked up momentarily we ate that up too.

however there still is room for hyde to get a toss like the one he scored on as opposed to calling a timeout and then running a qb sweep....

and there's no reason we can't let teams blitz and send hyde out there on a free release for an easy td like we see seattle do a million times a year.
Gore is still the best back Hyde for a big back needs to hit the hole he dances to much

Seems to hit the hole just fine to me. Not his fault the o line is playing like trash and guys are in the backfield right when he touches the ball
Hyde has some way to go but he seems durable and doesn't fumble. Two important keys.
