Crazier is if the Niners make it to Super Bowl L in two years, they'd be the designated "away" team in their own stadium...also unless the AFC team elects otherwise, Niners would have to wear their white jerseys @ Levi's

No way man. I know you're psyched about winning the SB, but a little perspective is in order. The pasting you guys just put on the Broncos, the '89 Niners did that in 3 consecutive playoff games. 41-13, 30-3, 55-10. In the SB, Denver was the #1 ranked defense in the league. We put 55 on them with ease. That was the only time in league history the #1 ranked defensive team lost in the SB. Defense wins championships, but not against the '89 Niners. They were the #1 offense AND #3 defense. VERY, very complete team.

Sherman kept it cool because talking post game smack on crutches is not a good idea. Even Sherman is smart enough to realize that. All it takes is a little "woops", bump into him and he is on the ground bumbling around with a bum ankle.

Yup. Those teams were scary. I still think the biggest mistake we made was trading Haley. Yeah he was a psycho but his pass rush abilities killed us.

Young i think caused that trade. I think they got into a fight or something and Serifert was involved too. Damn if you look at it Young was the reason joe and haley were traded.

Think PapaJohns is regretting hiring Peyton as their spokesperson now? Probably thinking they should have went with russell wilson,,,,would have at least made the pizzas look bigger in the commercials.

The 2 week span between conference championship games and the superbowl was used to promote the game and more importantly making it sound like this was a battle of the 2 best teams and will be a close game etc etc etc.

When if you just ask yourself after watching the season, who the better team is everyone would have said Seattle. Denver racked up points in a very easy conference and never really played a team like Seattle who is physical and excellent in all 3 phases of the game. Not to mention Denver has injuries on the defensive side of the ball where Seattle was basically 100% healthy.
