Aside from a game against the Redskins in week 13, Luck hasn't thrown more than 2 TD's in a game since week 9.

but you would be wrong

I don't see how. At this point in their careers, Kap is far and away the more accomplished of the two. I can only imagine the reaction on this board if Kap had a game like Luck did tonight.

how is Kap more accomplished?

Lucks stats are far superior to Kaps in virtually every major category lol

You must have gone to the Dan Marino school of judging QBs. Kap's interception percentages are lower and the big game performances, well....I'll let the 4-2 postseason record speak for itself. Would we be better with Luck? Maybe. But Luck wouldn't look that great with Greg Roman calling the plays and I think Kap would be fantastic in Indy under Pep Hamilton/Rod Chudzinski.

i dont know what Marino has anything to do with it lol. Especially since Kap hasnt won s**t, and only has 1 more playoff win than Luck. And if you are going to play the what if game with the quarterbacks, what if Luck had our running game AND our defense.

ill take the guy who threw for 4700+ yards and 40 tds/16 ints all day
Kap. Luck has a major luxury of playing in the AFC south. I love Luck, but I don't think he would do any better than what Kap has in this division.

Not saying who I think is better, but obviously if luck had our running game he wouldn't be throwing for 4700 yards....

Does he also get to have our former OC?

Keep in mind, I'm not saying it's clearly Kap. I just think it's closer than what people make it out to be.

Kap, 4-2 playoff record. Luck, 2-2 playoff record and fresh off a 38-point thrashing today by the Pats.

Other than that, yea, Luck all the way bro.

Look at the scores posted in our playoff victories, or hell, even our losses. Our defense didn't do squat and contrary to popular belief it was Kap that kept us in those games. Don't get me wrong, I think Luck is a great young talent but at this point in his career he's more Tony Romo than Tom Brady.

If the choice is between a guy that racks up passing yards but can't win when it matters or a guy with the ho-hum stat line but wins games, I'm taking option number two every time.

But it's not his fault. Only Kap can be blamed when the entire team is so thoroughly dominated as the Colts were tonight.

Lol exactly

The last time I checked football was a team sport. The overall team has something to do with that. I have never seen Luck playing with a 49ers level defense. Have you?

Football is a team sport, true. And reading is also fundamental. I was talking about the PLAYOFFS. Go look at the scores from our postseason games over the last four years and name just one that you would regard as a great defensive performance.

Point being, our defense hasn't fared very well in the playoffs and when that happened, it was Kap that carried the team.

Luck's mental tangibles with Kap's physical abilities.
