No, best offensive player not being a QB

As bad as the Rams look, especially on D, they're not going to get the top pick

KC would have a tough time with a decent college team so far this year

If the Rams had the top pick, I don't think they'd trade it to a NFC West team anyway. So it could actually be beneficial for them to get the top pick.

Unfortunately, with the way our offense looks, we could lose the next 3 and be 2-4 going into the bye.

I think we find a way to pull one of the 3 out (of course our best shot being vs. TB).

Tampa's d-line could put Alex on IR (and they don't kill him, Detroit could that following week).
As long as they dont hold the #1 pick. That thing is going to be the golden ticket... Easily worth a minimum of 2, 1st round picks. Think about what ATL gave up for Julio and you can only imagine what a QB-desperate team would throw at that pick.

I was thinking last night about how bad the Colts have looked this year and the possibility of them getting the #1 pick. How lucky would they be to have Manning for all these years and just have Luck fall into their laps?

Yeah but manning is not done yet...... I guess that's a good problem to have..
Let's trade Gore and a second rounder + 5th rounder to KC for their first round pick.

Book it Baalke!

What's funny is that if we go 2-4 there's still a distinct possibility that we could still be in the lead

This is what happens when the media overhypes a team. The Rams are a crappy team with a great RB. Nothing more than that.

Sounds like 2007 49ers.

Not to mention the rookie salary cap, which limits a teams liability. High draft picks just became that much more valuable.
