enticing, but there would be a HUGE dropoff as far as coaching. WTF is going on??? Does Harbaugh not wanna be here? Does the 49ers not want Harbaugh?? This is turning into a mess. So sad to see it unfold. We have had a Great thing going the last 3 years!! I don't wanna go back to the dark days of 2003-2010. C'mon now People just get the fk along already!!

but then for me the issues w/ play calling don't fall on greg roman they fall on jim harbaugh, he's an offensive head coach and he relays the play into colin so in effect any issues w/ our offense fall on harbaugh first not roman

maybe baalke has told harbaugh in so many words that he isn't utilizing all the weapons
And Baalke should because we drafted and are paying players to play that aren't. We can't see what we have in them if they don't play. Fangio did a much better job this year of getting guys involved this year. Now let us see if Roman can do the same this year
Team chemistry just took a huge shot. This will be tough to overcome.
York: 49ers had "no interest" in trading Jim Harbaugh: http://blogs.sacbee.com/49ers/archives/2014/02/york-49ers-had-no-interest-in-trading-jim-harbaugh.html#storylink=cpy
I also think the Aldon Smith situation was a huge rift between harbaugh and baalke/york

harbaugh played aldon smith...baalke/york did not want him to but harbaugh didn't really give a fck about what they thought and played aldon

during superbowl week aldon was on radio row and they asked him what he thinks of harbaugh and he said "i mean he's my head coach he drafted me"

then they asked him what he thought of fangio and tomsula and aldon was waxing poetic about how much he loves them

its certainly plausible to conclude aldon smith is not a fan of jim harbaugh for playing him in that game

You can't possibly believe this is anything other than what Jed said. Read Barrows report. Things are just fine. You got Jim Trent and Paraage not agreeing a hundred percent and wise Jed ultimately having final say on what coach he will pay or trade. Don't believe this crap reporting! Believe Barrows!

I don't think so. Things are overblown by the media. Everyone at 4949 knows Jim and how he is and they deal with him just fine I'm sure. Aside from that I don't think Jim is half as crazy ad he is made out to be
Time to bring in Jon Gruden and get us that sixth super bowl. He'll piggy back on our talent like he did Tony Dungy's in Tampa.

He deserves a stone granite monument that should be displayed in a museum as well
Florio still standing by his article. What a douche.

well...........he is probably as crazy as he's made out to be, ask stanford

but who cares this deal will get done if jim wants to get it done if jim wants to gamble on another season he full well has the license to do so, he can say lets talk after 2014 (when i win the superbowl) and jed will agree

he's got 2yrs left, the whole thing only becomes an issue when u have 1yr left on a deal and go into the season w/ the future murky

Jed is ingrained in our historical (methodical and explosive) offenses of the past. Baalke, I genuinely don't know if there is anymore talent this guy can pursue or bring in on offense (and this is before FA, including our own (Boldin) and the draft). I do NOT think this FO is blind to the obvious fact that we have REAL issues on offense and players are just not being utilized to their strengths, developed or utilized at all. If there is any "rift" it's probably with the idea that we could have had 2 or 3 Superbowls by now if we had ANY offense at all. Like us fans, we've now seem the exact same issues under 2 polar opposite QB's and surrounding personnel...it's the system that is the issue (i.e. the offensive philosophy).
