The issue was never that the players hated him, those were reports leaked by the like of Kawakami. When Lattimore left the team, he said multiple times if there is a problem with Harbaugh it has nothing to do with the locker room - everyone loves him. All of the leaders never said a peep, and thats who matters as well.
As for the front office, they hated his guts. And that's who signs the check. Have to be able to co-exist with your players and your FO alike to have longevity, we'll see if he can ever cope.

Yes I saw that. Now typically I say don't be a loser. Do what coach tells you and STFU but these are grown men too. Not college boys and after a while they will demand both respect and results. When we were winning things are tolerated but when losing the wish hits the fan
