I think 5 is about right. However...this is a team that couldn't do anything well by the time the season ended last year. Couldn't run, pass or defend the run/pass. They were the worst team in the league by the time the season ended.

Point being...I think all the variables are going to have to break on their side to get to 5 because last year illuminated the lack of talent on that team.They just don't have much talent and nothing (scheme, coaching etc) can overcome that for long. They are on shaky ground due to the lack of talent....it won't take much of a tremble in the force turn a 5 win team trying to hold it together into something much worse. It's going to take a bit of luck to get to five, IMHO.

But then again, who the f**k knows. lol

Why is there so much sarcasm in this thread? If the preseason means so little, why do we care about the 49ers game today? I'm not saying the Seahawks look like they're going to be the best in the division this year, I'm simply stating that they look much improved, inspired, and better than the Cardinals. Lets not forget this is a team we lost to at the end of season, and in a game that essentially knocked us out of the playoffs, however we did beat ourselves that game.
