We'll see, you can't actually say that until seeing what the hell happens for at least 3 years. Hiring a guy because he helped make Sam Darnold a functional, borderline top 10 QB is instantly a home run? Can't determine that immediately.

That's fair. I meant it as a good decision at the time given the candidates available. Obviously, the results will determine how it looks in hindsight.

Going from the previous hires of Josh McDaniels, Antonio Pierce and a decrepit Peter Carroll to a young head coach with a proven innovative offense that helped further develop Sam Darnold into a likely SB-winning QB. That's a win for the Raiders, in my opinion.
