Marty Schottenheimer. Many look at winning Super Bowls as the only measure of success, but fact is he took the Cleveland Browns to 2 AFC title appearances and coached the last consistently good Browns teams.
But it's pretty clear it doesn't work considering how far back I had to go. Teams that need to fire a head coach in season have issues that extend far deeper than the head coach.
