It will sure create a lot of jobs and that's always a very good thing.![]()
There's plenty of Rich People in Vegas. Just like when economy hit and people are losing their homes left and right the rich investors were buying them up. I don't think it will be a problem at all.

Its not my style to spend my savings on seats. It's cause you don't have it, it doesn't mean other people don't. If you are a high roller I'm sure you can get a seat, but if you are worried about that amount I doubt your on the high roller seat.

Never claimed I was a millionaire. But I'm sure there are probably close to a total of 1M millionaires between Vegas and California that don't mind buying those seats. 2nd part of the post just meant good for you if you have enough points to get a comp seat.

i dont have that much comps points. Thats why i said i will probably be able to use comp points for a game cause the casinos are probably going to have blocks of seats that they will give away due to the empty stadium.

Really they need to change the name. As that does not sound good. Raiders belong in CA. If they move to Vegas as in which 24 of the 32 NFL owners would have to agree to it. Then they would have to change their name.

Why didn't the Rams have to change their name?

As a 49ers fan I'd love that, they would lose any following remaining in Oakland and possibly LA. Might as well become an expansion

Why didn't the Rams have to change their name?
It was understood they were coming back.
In all seriousness, it's a good question.
BTW, I could envision the Raiders leaving Oakland, and either losing the name and a new team comes in later (like the new Browns) or maybe returning to Oakland a second time. Although with the nice 4 x 8 symmetry of teams/divisions, a move back is more realistic at this point.
Biggest issue these days is every team needs a modern stadium. How do you build a new stadium in Oakland while one exists already? Same issue with San Francisco and Candlestick?
Raiders share a stadium with the Athletics...the last NFL team to share with MLB.
Something has to give.
Most ideal scenario: Oakland Raiders become Las Vegas Raiders. 15-20 years from now they return with new stadium funded.
As for the 49ers, 30-40 years from now we could see a new stadium in SF. Anything is possible.
