If my memory serves me correct in the 2005 season (VS Wash was Alex 1st career start) I believe it was FB Chris Hetherington.

About that .gif, the same thing happened to Jay Cutler in the first Broncos/Chargers game last season, and he didn't even have anyone close to him. So I guess by your retarded logic, Jay Cutler sucks too...

BTW, I don't really care who wins the QB competition, as long as we win games.

Edit: My point is, if you think he sucks, that's your opinion and you're more than entitled to it. But that .gif of one play proves absolutely nothing other than the fact that you hate Alex Smith.

with all of the weapons we have i sure hope so , Morgan , Jones , Hill, Bruuuuuuuuuuuce, Crabtree ( Rook/injerd) needs to learn position, VD, Walker, Gore , Coffee, sheets and Robinson. if he doesn't have a Break out Season he should be gone after this year and Alex with him !

Hill can manage a game very well, and if the running game is clicking Hill will put up nice numbers in the short passing game

I'm not giving up on Alex yet though, he still has a lot of talent and could still become an effective QB

Alex sucking does not make Hill a better QB; just as if Shaun sucked it would not improve Alex's game... IMO, neither is a HOF or even Pro Bowl caliber QB.

Lets be happy we at least have a competent QB in Hill and hope that Alex does improve in case we need him. Just remember who we had for QBs over the last several years.

i agree . i havent seen enough of hill , and i seen enough of smith to know he sucks . if we dont make playoffs i think we should really look for a franchise QB next offseason.

so where was i wrong? by saying he hasn't done anything for the niners? cause i dunno where you been but tell me when he took us to the playoffs? NOT NEVAH! and the whole thing about julius peppers... i would trade our 1st rounder and manny lawson for peppers. linebacking is not what's hurting us! it's the pass rushing. lawson is known for dropping back into coverage! if we had peppers for sure our linebackers and corners would for sure step it up!

hill never took any one to the p's in what 6 seasons? not a hill hater but yes a smith supporter....

just looking at all the threads on alex and shaun. noticing this is the same exact nut riding everyone was doing after 06 and about alex. your all on hills nuts like you were on smiths that year......
