So you want Mesidor at #27?

I like the player but only if we traded back to early 30s due to his age. Trading back gives the luxury of a guy like Mesidor as we get additional picks as well to offset.

I'm more down for a trade up to #50 from #58 to get Cassius Howell or Malachi Lawrence at EDGE.

But I would be pumped to get Mesidor and just hope he wasn't a beast because he was lining up against 20 year old boys while he's a grown man.

i think his age actually helps we have him on a rookie contract throughout his prime

If Omar Cooper Jr or KC Concepcion are the best available at pick 27, I would rather they trade down and added extra picks. I think you can find some nice player in second round have 2 or 3 picks would be great. for a WR- Chris Brazzell II in the second sounds good, plus you would still have another pick if they moved down. An undersize speed rush end- R Mason Thomas or more of all around power rush with Derrick Moore. A center field free safety in Kamari Ramsey or Genesis Smith. I know they added Greenlaw but draft a second round LB like Anthony Hill Jr. I like having Anthony Hill Jr for 1 year behind Warner / Greenlaw. There are some nice TE in the draft that can be drafted in second and third rounds. Please do not reach for a player at pick 27.

I'd draft Lomu because he has elite feet and will lose very slow for a couple years until he's nfl-strong.
You get that guy up to 325 lbs and he will be pro bowl level

If Caleb Lomu or Monroe Freeling are on the board at pick 27 I would like ether player. They both can go top 10 or both fall ? I'm sure some teams have Kadyn Proctor ranks as OT #1 other have him way down because of his weight issues.
the way FA is going i think we will get a S and an OG with first 2 picks then get an EDGE in day 3
I think with FA about done they filled backup OL, starter WRs, starter 3T, backup slot DB and signed special teams. I see:
Edge first
guard second
With the middle round picks WR, RB and DBs

Holding out hope for Cooper? He was brought in to the Texans same year they drafted Higgins and Noel plus they had Tank Dell on the shelf
It's gonna be omar if he there, it's Kyle replacement for deebo

BPA.

FA is going as it is supposed to. Fill positions with depth so you can go BPA at your draft slots. If EDGE, OT, G, WR, DT or S is BPA at #27 you take them.

That being said Shanalynch has their guys and will at points reach for need. Problem is Lynch has never prioritized S or OG in the 1st round so that would be something new.

At #27 Pregnon would be worth it even if a little early as he's not lasting past mid-2nd round most likely and he is plug and play starting LG - ideally you trade back a few spots pick up a late 3rd (or more) then draft Pregnon or a FS like AJ Haulcy both instant starters.

#30. AJ Haulcy FS
#58. Cashius Howell / Malachi Lawrence / Zion Young EDGE (trade up to #50)
#94. Kendrick Law / Ted Hurst / Brennan Thompson / Bryce Lance WR (Good spot for one of these WR imo - Hurst would require a trade up prob. Hurst and Lance project as X receivers at both at 6'3+)
#127. Devin Moore CB
#133. Jalen Farmer G
#138. Sam Roush / Dallen Bentley TE
#139. Kaleb Elams-Orr LB (Dre Greenlaw 2.0 heat-seeking missile)

Zero complaints from me. Plus he is also like Aiyuk and a blend between Deebo and Aiyuk. Not sure how Kyle wouldn't love this dude.

Same, they have Kirk,Robinson & possibly Evans on a one year deal & Pearsall is an injury plagued yr away from being out the door nothing they've done this offseason takes WR in the first off the table.
It will be an OT that fits Kyle's offensive scheme. Guaranteed. 2nd Round pick could be a guard. I see the 49ers drafting Kittle's replacement late in the 4th or with the 5th round pick.

If you are right Max Iheanachor I'd be pumped about who should be there at #27.

If 2nd rounder is a G then it will be Keylan Rutledge as Pregnon will likely be gone.

27. Max Iheanachor OT
58. Keylan Rutledge G

Would go a long way toward fixing our OL in the immediate and long term.

Not sure if Lynch is gonna go OL back to bacl like that but I'd be good with it.

I still think we go WR with one of our first couple picks. Evans and Kirk are band aids and if Pearsall or Evans gets hurt I am not ok with Evans/Pearsall and Kirk as our starting WRs.

I hope one of Cooper Jr/Concepcion (1st rd) or Boston/Hurst/Williams (2nd rd) are on the team. The WRs available in the late 4th round are not going to move the needle.
