DT Walter Nolen (Ole Miss)
Nolen is coming off of his best season in 2024 in his long campaign with Ole Miss. In 13 games, Nolen recorded 48 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks. The 6-3, 300-pounder started to finally show off that five-star impact that once made him a hot commodity.

If it was just about talent, Nolen would have an argument to go inside the top 15 selections in April. The biggest test for Nolen in Indianapolis is to sell himself as a person to teams. There is some worrisome feedback regarding character for Nolen, which goes back to his high school days, and continued both at Texas A&M and with the Rebels. There are even a couple of NFL teams who have already taken Nolen off their boards.

Well s**t.

Okay I saw that. Thanks

Favorite dlineman. Pick 99 would be a good spot to draft him

Nice! Just started watching him a little bit. Just a strong athletic and relentless in his pursuit. Added bonus as a lead blocker for short yardage/goal line duties. Definitely another contender for us later to grab.

Interesting…definitely need the team to flush out anything like that.

We've seen great talent blow it cuz they couldn't keep their eyes on the prize. Obviously Eagles cleared Jalen Carter and have a Lombardi to show for it. We blew our chance to win one with Aldon in his best before he threw his career away.

There's that luck part of the draft. Eagles have been lucky with Carter as we were unlucky with Aldon.

Will be curious to see how he tests at the combine. Definitely feels like the type of guy who goes a lot higher than projected right now by mocks and people will cry "reach" for him to have a great career.

Holy hell

I wonder what the concerns are about Walter Nolen's character because I think he has a really strong chance of being the 49ers' guy.

I'm thinking maybe work ethic related but hard to see teams taking off a talented player off the board for that 🤷‍♂?

I don't know, but apparently whatever it was it occurred in High School, at Texas A&M, and at Mississippi.
