That could apply to a lot of players now that they're paying such big salaries.

I'm a TJ Sanders guy in the second. Then going big with a guy like Caldwell later.

Same. 11 is too rich for me but I'd be fine in a trade back
Outside of Graham, hunter or Carter I'm not really over excited about any of the guys that are up at the top.
And even Graham doesn't really have the overall length you want and I wouldn't call him an athletic specimen. I think the combine might push him down a little (hopefully).
Carter whom is damn good has his warts too. He was consistently on the ground and doesn't have that elite size you want at DE. He's not Myles Garrett that's for sure. Still in this draft I'd absolutely take him at 11.
Trade down would be ideal. The meat and potatoes of this draft is on day 2.
I would add Campbell, Johnson and Starks at 11. Hopefully one is there otherwise trading down seems the best bet.

Guys grow up. Getting 4 years of dominant play, maybe 5 wouldn't be terrible if his eyes are on the $ only.
Can always hope he matures, enjoys being known as a dominant player and keeps it going on his way to a HOF career.
Curtis Martin had a HOF career and he didn't care for the game at all outside of that it provided him an opportunity to help his family and make a name for himself.
However I'm with NY....I'd prefer we move down where the options become a lot more robust and allow us to build the best team overall. Tho if Nolen is the guy I'll be hoping the 2 part of my post takes place.

None. Meant recent news on Nolan
Oh lol my bad.
I wonder if Tyleik can be had in a trade up in round 2, maybe within the first five picks of round 2? This draft is deep with D-Tackles and I doubt they all go in the 1st round. But if they don't trade up for Mason Graham, I hope it's Will Johnson, Malaki Starks and James Pearce at 11. In a trade down, I'm hoping for Walter Nolen, Duron Harmon or Tyliek Williams.
I hope Lynch and Shanahan don't fall for another out of the blue prospect, like Tyler Warren. Don't get me wrong the kid is gonna be a star in the NFL, but the 49ers need another star on defense.

Another Oregon prospect that is showing a lot of good tape and had a strong senior bowl, @Maree803 Ja'Maree Caldwell, DT. A lot of high football IQ plays. pic.twitter.com/sq8grfg0NW

More excellent, high football IQ and unselfish play from @Maree803 Ja'Maree Caldwell, DT - OR pic.twitter.com/VKudCslKtQ

this is a heck of a NT at 340 lb,... and, for the moment, he's projected to go 3rd-4th round
Him and Mason Graham as 3-tech could form a monster IDL for years

Ok listening to some of the post Senior Bowl grade and this guy was getting some love. We know about Oregon's Jordan Burch and Derrick Harmon will go early. But if we want another rotational run stuffer in the late rounds (possible undrafted), we can double/triple up and get this powerful/disruptive, twitchy (former running back), beefy lineman to our unit. He actually looks athletic and can move for his size and I'm sure Lynch got a closer look on this young man. I like this kid late round than Tyliek Williams let's say (3rd-4th round)
Jamaree Caldwell- 6'2" 345 lbs.

NYniner85 and I are all in on him (even pairing him with TJ Sanders). At first, he was supposed to be a later day 3. It looks like he might not be there after the 4th round. I actually like him more in the 3rd/4th round than taking Tyliek Williams in the 2nd round. Dude is a beast in the middle and just got some light feet to boot. Nice breakdown by JD. Yeah, it will be great if we can take him with one of our 4th rounders.

wow, that first step is brutal,... he's incredibly quick for a 340 lb guy

There no need to spend a top 11 pick on a TE

Ole Miss DT Walter Nolan said he's met with the 49ers. He grew up a fan of the 49ers and especially liked Patrick Willis and NaVorro Bowman.

Now...does that mean he's got good decision making or poor decision making?
