Anything less than 4 drafted DL(atleast 2IDL, 2EDGE IMO) is a disgrace with our current DL situation.

Crazy how they still maintain their athleticism after putting weight with the position switch. I would like our defensive front gets a little bigger but still get these players that can still move for their size.

That's what I'm hoping they accomplish this offseason. No more tiny ~280-290 pound IDL. Get bigger and stronger talent while maintaining an athletic group. They need get bigger bodies if they really want to match up with teams like the Lions and the Eagles. That Eagles OL is freaken massive.

Yes sir! These guys are just getting freaking athletic at this size. I have to bring back your gif for this class.

Ja'Maree Caldwell 340 IDL is a guy I would like SF to go after on day 3.

. Hey, let's just draft the Oregon boys of Harmon, Burch and Caldwell. Burch is like 6'6 300 lbs and very good vs the run and can set the edge. He should be there at 3rd round. Add another like David Walker later. Just too many options.

Given me a collection of the Oregon and Ole Miss DL and I'm good

This guy is starting to become one of my favourites.

I have a couple, in fact a few that I really hope this team take advantage of this class. I would think one of Pegues, Lott, Caldwell, Phillips makes it to our 4th round comp pick.

They tried it with Khalia Davis. Obviously didn't work out, but I love to see the same.

I love the idea of our Dline unit being remade in one draft. We can potentially get a real replacement for peak Armstead, outside player in base, inside on passing downs, DJ Jones, and a good 3 down DT (i won't call said player a Buckner replacement) by the time the 4th round ends all in one draft.

Those would be the most important pieces to add to a line with Bosa to get us going for next year. Still can add a guard in there without using 11 overall. If we trade back, we'd have capital to add a linebacker and safety as well. Perhaps even one more spot (TE2? CB?).

This is going to be a fun draft.

I believe Brett but if this kid is this good he won't be available on day 3

Yeah. 20's ish area. If he doesn't go in the 1st he's gonna be a targeted trade up in the second round player.

Who said Harmon was gonna be available on day 3?

I'm leaning towards Derrick Harmon being my guy at 11. There isn't anything he doesn't do well.

He's huge at 6'5, 310 and insanely strong in the lower half. He has long arms and a strong punch that jolts linemen back. He can take on double teams and stack and shed to make plays on the ball carrier. He has a great first step can shoot gaps if left 1 on 1. He is a true 3 down DT.

He really reminds me of Chris Jones. Like identical.

I think he will be a force next to Bosa.

Then grab a squatty NT type in round 3 who also can eat double teams (JJ Pegues) and I think our line will be real hard to play against.

Harmon had 5 sacks and 8 tackles for loss in 2024. He has the size and athleticism but looking at his college career it didn't always translate to on field production. Oregon only played 3 tough teams all year. The 2 against OSU and the one against Penn State. With so many weak teams I would have liked him to dominate more. I wouldn't take him at #11. If he's there in the 2nd round (big if) then I would take him.
