2025 Draft Class: IDL

Harmon had 5 sacks and 8 tackles for loss in 2024. He has the size and athleticism but looking at his college career it didn't always translate to on field production. Oregon only played 3 tough teams all year. The 2 against OSU and the one against Penn State. With so many weak teams I would have liked him to dominate more. I wouldn't take him at #11. If he's there in the 2nd round (big if) then I would take him.

Go watch the playoff game bs OSU.

He dominated their pro ready linemen. They couldn't block him .

From NFL.com draft write up about him.

"He plays like a Raven or a Steeler. Off the tape, he reminds me of a young Cam Heyward but bigger." -- NFC executive

He may not be a 10 sack guy right away but he will shore up a teams run defense and be a force against double teams freeing up our edges. The sacks will come.
IMO, Walter Nolan is going to be a phenomenal player that teams will kick themselves for not drafting.

He should be our pick in the 1st round. If we think we can trade back a few picks (to get a day 2 pick) and still get him that would be awesome.

I'm feeling the same way about Tyleik Williams.

Have same feeling as well maybe we can trade down a couple spots draft him and gain an additional pick

Favorite dlineman. Pick 99 would be a good spot to draft him
Pretty cool chart to see impact per snap in this DL class

Obviously like any stat/metric in football you have to understand the context, since some guys coming in fresh or in mop up duty situations could have their per snap numbers jump in a big way but still a good metric to see.

Lott definitely feels like a guy kind of under the radar that goes a lot earlier than projected.

Seen this as part of an article in a tweet.

DT Walter Nolen (Ole Miss)
Nolen is coming off of his best season in 2024 in his long campaign with Ole Miss. In 13 games, Nolen recorded 48 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks. The 6-3, 300-pounder started to finally show off that five-star impact that once made him a hot commodity.

If it was just about talent, Nolen would have an argument to go inside the top 15 selections in April. The biggest test for Nolen in Indianapolis is to sell himself as a person to teams. There is some worrisome feedback regarding character for Nolen, which goes back to his high school days, and continued both at Texas A&M and with the Rebels. There are even a couple of NFL teams who have already taken Nolen off their boards.
