Trent Williams LT
Booker LG
Dalman C
Puni RG
Mckivitz(or draftee) RT

Mckivitz would be a weakness but you can live with that if the other 4 guys are studs.

I wouldnt want Booker in rd 1. 49ers don't value guards that high and i don';t blame them. I'd take Booker at 43 though.

Thing is McKivitz isn't a weakness. He was quite good last year and his play is improving every year and he's reliable. He hasn't missed a game in 2 years as a starter. He's the least of our problems and I'd like to see him extended this year
Top LG options for me:

Round 2-

Donovan Jackson - OSU

Round 3-

Luke Kandra - Cincinatti

Round 4-

Josiah Gray - Oregon St

Clay Webb - Jacksonville St

Agreed, quietly not the worst part of the line anymore.

I wouldn't say he's not a weakness but last year I would say he wasn't even the 2nd worst guy on our line so getting rid of him is not a priority but considering he's got 1 year left on his deal and Trent Williams is no spring chicken we 100% should be on the lookout of our future on both sides so if we can find a guy who can play OT long term and maybe start off at LG that's what we should do.

I'd definitely be in favor of that tho. Move down for Booker or Membou is a OK with me.

Perfect world for me would be trading down and maybe grabbing Nolen and then trading up from 43 and grabbing Booker/Membou but that's asking a lot.

I think a guy who's not getting enough hype among us posters is Marcus Mbow. I think he will be a better pro than Membou.

I have heard Rashawn Slater comps for Membou but I think Mbow is more like Slater. He is the most athletic lineman in the draft and probably the most intelligent. His technique is probably the most advanced of all the tackles.

2.43 probably gets us a good linemen who can start at LG then move to tackle to replace Williams

For me it's:

1- Donovan Jackson (probably a 1st round pick)
2- Marcus Mbow*
3- Armand Membou*
4- Dylan Fairchild
5- Luke Kandra
6- Joshua Gray
7- Clay Webb

*can play tackle but probably better suited at guard

OC- Jared Wilson (Georgia) is my target at 3.73 as well. I think he can play guard for a year and then move to center.

Let's say Mbow at 2.43 and Wilson at 3.73. That would give us arguably the most athletic, technical interior line in the league.

Grab a tackle at 3.99 like Anthony Belton and this line could be set for a decade

LT- Anthony Belton
LG- Marcus Mbow
C- Jared Wilson
RG- Dominic Puni
RT- Colton McKivitz (extended)

Booker is legit, but I am torn on a guard that high since imo you can find great ones middle rounds. I feel this way about WR and Guards unless there is an obvious elite prospect etc.

I agree. It is much easier to work around a weak tackle than weak center so going for Booker does make sense in that regard, but long term we are better served taking a tackle given the roster after 25. I think Booker will go middle round 1 and tackles always go faster and higher because it's very hard to find them these days.

I'm warming up to Membou. Going back to watch some of the top pass rushers he shut down is hard to ignore. I'll be very curious to see his measurements and performance here but I can see him sticking at OT but would like to compare to Slater's results.

Feels like at minimum he would be a dominant LG for 10+ years if he couldn't hang at RT.

No way they're going to spend all those early picks on OL

Saleh is here. Need to let him cook. But he doesn't have anything to cook with now.

Unless Jackson is there at 43 we grab defense in rounds 1 and 2. Agree on Belton at #99 if he is there take him no matter what.

But most is Jackson/Milum/Mbow at 43 and Belton at 99. If we trade back in the 1st and grab a couple extra picks then can maybe grab Wilson. Otherwise it's a late round center.

And if Mbow is drafted in the 2nd it is to start at C right away not G or T.
Niners are meeting with damn near every OL

Wonder when they met with them all? An article says that there's zero 49er reps there and Lynch left yesterday

What article? The team meetings for OL were Wednesday, I believe
