Center crop is not very good from what I've seen so far.. at least among seniors. This may inflate the value of Logan Jones (Iowa). One late round guy to watch is Jacob Gideon from Western Michigan. Has some tools but not a top tier prospect.
I strongly disliked the film and/or fit of all of the following players:
Eli Cox, Kentucky
Ethan Miner, Miss. St.
Justin Osborne, SMU
Brian Stevens, UVA
One guy overhyped is Jake Majors (Texas). I watched tape of multiple games and was not very impressed. Dude just doesn't look like a great pro at the next level.

I have been trying to watch Jared Wilson from Georgia, they are on in my area all the time. He does a solid job in pass pro and in the run game he can get out and seal lanes. He seems to wear down and lose technique later in games. He was a late round projection earlier in the year but now seems like a 3rd-4th rounder

Then what about the D line class? IF O line class as underwhelming as you feel it is, perhaps it would better to take D line in the first, and O line in the second or third.

Bryce Foster if they finally want to stop playing around with undersized centers and bring in someone big and nasty enough to toss people out the club but still have the pertinent awareness and football IQ to make all the calls at the line.

Would rather sign one of the FA C's then go with a guy like Booker, Ratledge or Savaiinaea who has OT flexibility in the 2/3

Also Pete Kendall's kid will be in this upcoming draft class. He's an exceptional center out of Boston College. Looks like a late round pick that could have a strong shot at sticking around.

I still have about 15 other C prospects to go through, including Foster. Will report back on what I see. 😎 Looking for my next collection of gold helmet guys to predict

I like the idea of Bryce Foster, especially if he goes on day 3.

It's harder to evaluate O linemen than any position other than QB. The style of play is much different than the NFL. Players usually don't need to hold their blocks as long and they certainly aren't facing the level of defense they do in the pros. So many need to learn how to be effective pass blockers once the enter the NFL.

QB is certainly the most difficult. I think if you know what you're looking for, OL is not too hard to evaluate TBH. I was high on Limmer, Puni, Frazier, JPJ this year, and OTs Freeland and Saldiveri last year. Previously also said Creed Humphrey was the best IOL in his class before the draft. Also predicted Josh Garnett would bust.
I think IDL, LB, CB and TE can be trickier. If I'm being honest with myself, LB I feel like is a personal weak spot in evaluation for me. CB, although not bad, is probably next. It's interesting, I'll see LB that fly around and make plays in college sometimes totally choke in the NFL because they lack the mental part or some other skill (see Rueben Foster).

I see him as a solid mid to late 3rd round right now. He got better at Kansas. Not sure what A&M was doing as far as coaching but he was a mess there. Still has a lot of room to improve but hie size and strength are things that you cannot teach. I can see him being a much better NFL than college player.

Very tough to grade them but Leif Fautanu on ASU has been amazing. 6'2 315
no draft hype, so maybe an udfa
- Leif Fautanu has played 3,329 snaps in his career, third-most among active FBS centers, behind only NMSU's Canaan Yarro (3,388) and Texas' Jake Majors (3,333) and has started 47 consecutive games in his career out of his 53 total starts.
- His 89.3 pass-blocking grade is the best grade for any FBS center and seventh among all players.
- Fautanu also has just four pressures credited against him, tied for 16th-fewest among FBS players and 9th among centers (min. 250 pass block snaps).
- His 1.2 pressure allowed percentage is 9th among FBS centers.
- first team big 12
no draft hype, so maybe an udfa

Some other potential candidates in Jake Slaughter (Florida), Jonah Monheim (USC) and Seth McGlaughlin (Ohio St). No matter what and no matter how, the Niners need to replace Brendel this offseason. The sheer fact that our center watches as much football as we do WHILE he's on the field and is the 40th ranked center in a 32 team league is inexcusable.

Does this mean return of the spreadsheet like last year OTC?
