What sort of round do you guys think? 6th would be a good time to grab him imo. Juice is signed but we still need his replacement in the pipeline
If we got him in the 6th round we would be very lucky and I would turn in that pick in a heartbeat. I do wonder if the Jets or a team that runs a FB will take him a lot earlier than the 6th to fit that Offensive Weapon role
Yeah, no brainer in the 6th. You can get that guy in and start grooming him. As a back-up, could he contribute on special teams? If so, that is GREAT value for a 6th round pick. Also if his development goes fast, Juice's wife can get that move to the East Coast. I wouldn't be pressed for make a move until the 5th.
This dude screams 49er. He blocks like the defender said something about his mom, is a fantastic athlete, and all I've heard about him is that he loves football.
Jordan Reed looked great last year as a legit #2 TE. I don't know why they wouldn't re-sign him to another 1-year deal... age and concussion risk I guess. But if they don't fill that hole in FA, TE is a big need in the draft, and this guy would be a great fit. Would get significant playing time, and could even be a real backup and future replacement to Juice.

Juice is 30 yrs old. I hope they're not using him an excuse to overlook someone like Tremble. Hell, we can move on from him this year if we draft Tremble and he looks good. That's coldblooded but that's the way it goes.
Unfortunately, I think other people see what we see. I see him as TE2 in many, many rankings.

The timing just isn't good ):. Can't use a day 2 pick on the position. I don't think he goes before Freiermuth, who I predict to the Titans in the 2nd, but will still be drafted too early
Tommy Tremble, TE, Notre Dame-Greg Cosell: "Man, that guy is a blocking fool, that guy is looking to melt your face mask. After Pitts, I think he's the most intriguing tight end prospect in this class. He was not targeted in the pass game very much in his two full seasons at Notre Dame, but he's got traits to become a good receiver. They just need to be developed, but he can move. He's an athlete. I think that he'll begin his career probably more like a movement H-back and TE2. I think of teams like the Jets that are now in the Kyle Shanahan offensive mode. Is he a Kyle Juszczyk, who's far more athletic and is a better receiver but starts off in that kind of role?"

Don't know if he will be as good as right away, but definitely can be sooner rather than later. Kid is a freaking stud and screams 49er all the way. He's easily good enough to replace Juice in I formations and replace Reed in double TE sets

WHO did we draft over this GEM ??
He was picked at 83. The niners drafted the note dame guard at like 42 so that would have been too early. They drafted sermon at 88 so maybe they would have picked him if he was available then? maybe should have traded up.
