David Shaw probably held this kids talent back a little bit with his offense and coaching and this kid has all the talent he just needs to stay healthy and put it all together. I won't be the least surprised if the niners draft this kid in the 3rd round. I just don't see the niners drafting a Qb in the 1st round.

Yeah. A 3rd round pick is about right. Just too many players that can be immediate contributors in the first two rounds. If Kyle grabs him in the 2nd, I'd hope that there's a legit QB competition and not a "It's Jimmy job to lose" kinda thing.
Finally stopped being lazy and watching some more Mills. Shanny appreciates the little things like throwing from the far hash to the opposite numbers on time with anticipation in the face of a blitz.

Adam Peters attended games that Mac Jones played in, I believe some scouts attended Lance's Pro Day.

How does Mills compare to Jones?

I know Jones has a much larger body of work, but from a stand point of physical attributes, ability to read the defense, arm strength, etc.

Im assume Jones is better, but if he costs the #12, and Mills can be had for a late 3rd, or later, is Mills a better value?

Day 2 is ripe with CBS, TEs, WRs, and IOL, that would actually contribute.

So we should take Mills in the first round - will increase his odds of becoming a franchise QB

Dont think it works like that. It would decrease the percentage of successes in R1 though.

This is who I think they were checking out

So you're saying we could take him vs Mac Jones and the drop off isn't big at all?

also what is so vastly different between Mills and Rosen?
