Get ready to hear a lot more talk about Stanford CB Paulson Adebo after a strong pro day performance. He was a 2020 opt-out and had a down 2019, but he's also the same guy who had 27 passes defensed and 8 INTs in 2017 & 2018 combined. Deserves more attention in my opinion.

I believe Mac is ready to start day 1. Been saying that for awhile. I feel like he can read the defense quicker and his deep ball is way more consistent than Mills. Mechanics, I see a lot of similarities. Both have great footwork and have a quick/compact release.

The Rosen argument is difficult because I feel like none of us have a real sample size. He never had a true shot on a team and that's definitely screwed around with his development.

I mean, Rosen was what, the tenth overall pick or something? Sometimes, QBs bust.

For me when I'm comparing guys, it how they looked coming out of college not how one guys is now in the NFL vs a rookie prospect.

I understand that, I'm saying from a comparison what's different between Rosen and Mills coming out of college? Rosen had by far more starts then him and actually pushed the ball downfield.

I just don't see Mills as a massive upgrade to a guy we currently have on the team for peanuts. Maybe I'm wrong though.

The big differences were number of games and style of offense. Mills had a lot of minor injuries that kept pushing him back in the pecking order. He also played for one of the more conservative coaches in the PAC12. Stanford will run, run ,pass on nearly every possession. They don't have a wide open offense. Even with Luck they were more conservative than most teams. Mills was highly touted out of high school but he's really still a mystery because of all the setbacks he's had.

Ahh I see what you're saying. Rosen coming out of college, there's definitely similarities. Both battled nagging injuries; both showed good mechanics; both showed pretty good arms. Difference is definitely the style of offenses they ran. Shaw....smh is such a BORING coach. He definitely prefers to protect his QBs, but watch Mills' games va Washington St and UCLA. Fun games to study as far as his pro potential.

Love his potential and value, but the injury history is a massive hell no for me. I'm just tired of it. That risk has NEVER worked out for us the last ten years.

I agree. We play in Seattle and the LA astro-crete fields every year, on top of all the other astro-crete teams we face outside of our division. He looks like a Richburg-injury waiting to happen.
