Wow, imagine this place if Shanahan passes on Justin Fields AND Zach Wilson for Mac Jones in this scenario.

If the Jets pass on Zach, that's probably what will happen. Shanahan always gets so locked in on the prospect that he wants that even if Trevor Lawrence is available, he's still going to pick Macorkle Jones

(The pro day not the prospect)

They all missed throws. Justin Fields threw a crosser behind the receiver and almost took someone out on the sideline; Trey Lance went cold in the red zone drills; Mac Jones missed a few deep passes in a row and hit the damn roof trying to push the ball. Why anyone is expecting 100% accuracy at these Pro Days is beyond me. These dudes aren't robots.

I can't stop thinking about what this guy could do with Kyle

Pro days amount to how the QB interacts with his teammates, and basically how the ball comes off the arm live. Most everything else is just fluff. Wilson's PD was a lot of off platform 'look what I can do' stuff.....

Still doesn't take away a ton of good s**t from the guy.

HA I'd tell Kyle to update the resume.

I believe I just saw Steve young say they Jets are committed to Wilson anyway.

Somebody on Twitter said Zach Wilson and his family are already looking at property in NY. Not sure if this is BS or what but damn.

I'm completely fine swimming in the Nile
I wanted Wilson but Fields or Lance can be coached up and produce at a high level.

We're finally getting a good madden QB too!

From that same convo

Young said that Wilson would love to be a 49er, but given the 2021 NFL Draft order — the Jaguars, Jets and 49ers have pick Nos. 1, 2 and 3 respectively — Wilson seems to be almost a lock to go to the Jets at No. 2 overall, if Young's information is accurate.

"I think Zach would love it, the family would love it (Wilson joining the 49ers), nothing would make anyone happier," Young said. "I think the 49ers, that's their unstated first choice, so that would be wonderful. If it can happen, they would figure it out."
