KJ Hamler Penn St 5'9" 179 lbs 40 yard dash - has not run, estimates 4.28-4.35 I feel the need for speed, this guy is fast fast fast. Anyways, the whole point was that I'm guilty of having unrealistic expectations. I want the next Tyreek Hill, but there's only one Tyreek Hill.

I'm also guilty of hating Hill with a passion because of beating a pregnant woman, breaking own sons arm, etc... Just can't stand Hill the person. Hill the football player, admittedly I'd love on our team, kid is no denying everything you're saying about him.

FWIW Ruggs ran that in his 2nd ever track meet. He didn't run track until his senior yr.

Hill is probably faster. Both are elite speed demons.

But as a football player, I've never seen anything like him. Hands down the fastest player I've ever seen. I was at the Raider-Chiefs gams a few years ago, and Tyreek's speed is even crazier in person. He makes 4.3 guys on a football field look slow.

This is the play that left me speechless. I was on Tyreek's side of the stadium near the 50. I couldn't believe my eyes. The word fast doesn't do him justice.

Lol I agree Hill is fast but can we also agree an over the hill Nelson and Amerson are slow as f**k. Pretty sure our linebackers are faster than those two

You can see in the video posted, yes Ruggs clearly pulls away from the defenders and shows off world class top speed, but his initial burst immediately after the catching is not like what see from Hill. That being said, he is the closest we are going to get, and I think he's first off the board since he also has decent size and hands.

I actually agree with this. Acceleration and speed are not the same thing. You see defensive lineman with insane acceleration based on their 10 yard split, but no long speed obviously. I want a guy that has world class acceleration in that first 10-20 yards to go with the long speed. That's what I see more of with Hamler versus Ruggs (again, to clarify though, not even remotely saying he's a superior prospect to Ruggs -- just commenting on athletic traits).

If the Steelers are interested in taking a WR early, a burner like KJ Hamler would be a great addition to the offense.

Diminutive size, with too many drops, and lets the balls he does catch into his frame way too often. I don't think i want to draft that before the 3rd round.

Hamler won't run the 40-yard dash, he tweaked his hamstring in training, but said he ran a 4.27 and will run at his Pro Day.

what ever wr the steelers take hes going to be legit, they always seem to draft real good ones. Dont know how they do it year after year
