Tell me I'm crazy: Trade down to six, pick DK Metcalf, then draft Brian Burns for EDGE

Yes crazy
Exhibit A:

100% result so far!!
Great in theory, crazy in execution and reality.

I expected nothing less. I will resist the impulse to vote not crazy to see how long the 100% will last.

Also Za'Darius Smith will probably be available in free agency to help mitigate passing on Josh Allen in this Twilight Zone scenario, and he would certainly be an upgrade in the edge.

Sign a free agent pass rusher, draft one at 36 or move back into the first to get one, and draft the poor man's Julio at 6.

It makes more sense to me than it should.
Yep...you're crazy. WR is a need, but it's not the biggest need. DL, pass rusher, top LB would all come before WR that early.

Safety, interior o line, another edge rusher and CB are all higher on my list of needs including what you're saying

Normally I'd agree, but then I look at how ridiculously deep this draft is with pass rushers and I re-evaluate my position. You do not see 6'3 WRs with his speed, explosiveness, body control and strength. 6 is too high, but some people are thinking about giving up the No. 2, No. 36 and next year's 1st for OBJ.

He's not Kevin White. I am confident he will be productive. If we land a quality edge in free agency, I think it might be worth the risk to draft an edge player from the second tier because of how deep this draft is at the position.

Who are these high quality FA edges of which you speak? Brandon Graham was probably the top one expected to be available and he is now off the market.

The ones in his imagination.

Give it time. People who overvalue receivers will eventually start getting in on this.
