QW at 1 and Isabella at 33. Keim promises you a wild night of drinking followed by some drunken Waffle House and a side of DUI if you tell him who you like in the 3rd round?

Tony Pauline stated yesterday that AZ is doing a ton of work on Andy I'd love to have a combo of Arcega-Whiteside/butler/brown and Andy. I don't want Isabella to be the only WR we come away with though.

I like him, just not as much as you do....no hurt feelings
Some clips from Rosen in college not sure how much he improved in AZ but this is bad stuff

Another reason why Murray is proabaly the pick

I need some JR trade rumor news, dammit

I heard on the Rich Eisen show that all they heard after the combine was Murray will go #1 to the Cardinals. And that they won't trade JR until the draft and they know for a fact they have drafted Murray. Even if a team offers their #1 pick. JR is their backup plan if for some crazy reason they don't draft Murray #1... like if Murray decides he wants to play MLB right before the draft. They can't risk not have a QB at all

I actually had dinner with Murray's agent on Tuesday and he told me that he is going to play football even though he would make much more money playing baseball.
And Scott Boras who is his agent definitely wanted him to play baseball since the contracts are so much higher

Is Boras representing him for football too? (Hope ARI has a good negotiator. )

IIRC NFL signing bonuses are better than MLB for draftees. But, baseball money is better if you make it to the show.

Yea Scott boras is representing him.
Scott also told me there really are no "negotiations" for football contracts, which most know so it's a lot easier for teams.

no he isn't....Erik Burkhardt is.

Does Erik burkhardt work for boras Corp?
If not then odd because I just talked to Scott and he said he put together a group in his office to handle nfl players

I looked it up and he doesn't.
Well, my source is bad!
Lol

It is weird cause I just talked to Scott

If this did happen , then sounds like he stringed together a story of half-truths. Probably doesn't want to talk about losing business and can't talk about client strategy anyways.

Lol
It did happen.

But I can see him not wanting to lose business. The dude is a tough negotiator and you can tell he doesn't lose often.

Oh yeah but all the parameters will be set up long before that...like our trade deal with Trenton Brown. The only reason they may wait until the draft day is to make it look like they are holding out for the best deal but most likely, they'll put out notice that all inquiry deals need to be in by a certain date/time. Meanwhile their FO and agent will be finalizing Murray's contract.

Yup! Great example as well.
It's a bit worrisome to see him at camp because if he impresses, clicks with KK they may run with him. I wish he went the Cutler route and just said enough with this crap.
It's like I'm living in Keim's head, Lol, I said same thing last week:

"One AFC executive told me this week the Cardinals have received at least two offers for Rosen but want to "save face" and get as close to a first-round pick as possible."

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2829494-matt-millers-scouting-notebook-nfl-insiders-believe-top-5-picks-are-a-lock

Keim does't want to look like an imbecilic @$$hat for claiming the Tards drafted their franchise QB last year in Rosen, and now trading him away for a 3rd round pick this year.

This assertion is asinine. He wants to get as close to a first-round pick as possible so he can "save face"?

In what universe does a GM not try to get the maximize the return value for a player they're trading away?

We don't need a narrative to explain what the Cardinals are doing. They're trying to get as much as possible because that's what teams do every time.
