I guess my only hope now is to hear RG say there has been a trade , the Oakland Raiders are now on the clock.

Btw, I noticed you use almost the exact same verbiage/talking points as one of the guys in the PFF video. Are you the blond dude with the man bun?
What's funny is my reaction to his post was almost spot on with yours.
It's almost a trickle down effect to people overreacting to that video...the irony is the guy in the video still said Bosa is a great prospect.
I don't hate Bosa and I never said he'll be a total bust. I do think he can potentially be a bust relative to expectations though. People on this board have been jizzing over Bosa all year, when the fact is he's not even considered the best prospect out of the last three drafts (Chubb/Garrett/J.Bosa). And while it's debatable, a good number of the pro scouts don't even think he'll be as good as his brother.
I hope I'm wrong...though it's rarely the case

Cards take Murray, Raiders come up for Haskins, Jets take Allen and we still get Bosa at 4 plus pick 27 and a 4th from Oakland? Sounds like a plan.

I would say you're crazy, but jets did just resign their DE and DT. Plus they will be doing Greg Williams 3-4. Allen is a perfect match for them. Still I do not think they'd pass on Bosa lol

Most people have him over Chubb. Toss up over his brother, I think he is better and plays with better leverage. Garrett is a crazy combo of size, athlete and technique with production. No shame being a lesser prospect over him.
What are people's expectations? I don't think people are expecting 20 sacks per season just a guy who can put up sacks in double digits, get hurries if he can't get sacks and play well vs the run as well.
The guy isn't even a finished product. He can still improve just like the other guys. Somehow people assume he's hit his ceiling. Why?

It's that time of the offseason boys, for those that don't usually follow this stuff. Everyone will be scrutinized and evaluated by "experts" for strengths and weaknesses, Bosa is not flawless and will be scrutinized just like everybody else.

Mani's point was we have a surplus of DTs, and what's a fellow to do? Well, guess what? We had 7 or 8 DTs last yr. Having the best ER in the draft, a DE, is what you focus on and just like last yr, we need to lighten our load of DTs, but he rightly guesses we take Bosa anyway if there. Still think Kingsbury is blowing smoke. Nonetheless, we got too many DTs.
So yes, we take the best player in the draft, and if not there, then 1b, Allen. Then it's not a problem. But still, we got too many DTs, just like last yr. Let's see...Blair, DJJones, Day, kentavious Street?? , Julian Taylor, AA, Solomon. and DeFo. That by my count Is 8 and I know I am forgetting someone, maybe 2. We have a LB Ford to play as DLine, DE. We get Bosa as a bookend DE, also best player in draft.
Talk about adding Q Williams is not what we want. We got 8 guys there already. We DEs, not DTs. So Mani just points out a problem we had all last yr. Sure we rotated guys a lot and kept them fresh...but at just two slots. OK, Solly moved outside (unfortunately, at times)...but still we have exactly the same problem we had all last yr...and Bosa has no effect on that. He is a DE.
We need to shed some (and here I mean more than 1, 2 and maybe even 3 ) DTs. This will be a new challenge for JL in that he never has had to trade starters before. But some of these guys are just rotational, and can be traded, and if not, cut. We have some good talent to trade or cut. But it can be done.
We have seen Lynch wheel and deal and he can do this. The other thing Mani missed on is...we need to move more than 1 or 2 DTs. Just exactly like last yr.

You're Mani's brother
I understand though, but the consensus is there are two Blue chips in Bosa and Williams. It's going to be very hard to pass on either unless we are made a great offer. Which if there is one to be made AZ will take it.
But you are right that if we take one of them we need to make some trades. I guess DJ, Street and or AA? (What happens if we cut AA cap wise?) Thomas still has two years cheap so I think he could be a rotational piece, but maybe he'll fetch a better pick? In the end it's a good problem to have. My doubts are these guys being schemed to their fullest.

Any experts on "nfl training and conditioning program" willing to chime in, can bosa gain strength/ size with "nfl training and conditioning program" seems lot of these youngsters come in and fill out under "nfl training and conditioning program" but can bosa benefit from "nfl training and conditioning program" or has he already been an active and heavy participant in "nfl training and conditioning program"?
On the flip side, in college, Solomon Thomas did pretty well at DE against 1st round pick Kolton Miller. That Stanford training and conditioning program must've been elite.

If the Raiders trade up to 2 for a QB, we will still be able to come away with one of QW, Bosa or Allen. We may not get our first or even second choice but IMHO we simply cannot lose in such a scenario if they are willing to give us 24 or 27.

Agreed, but why wouldn't AZ take the same offer (even more) if they aren't taking Murray. That's my thinking.
