Dec. 23, 2017 I think it's likely that we'll be either 4-12 or 5-11, and picking 5-7th overall. NOTE: I've eliminated QB, DT, S, and OT from the list as I don't see how we would select one of these positions. Results (141 total votes): Quentin Nelson - 33% Bradley Chubb - 17% Saquon Barkley - 15% Roquan Smith - 13% Minkah Fitzpatrick - 9% Harold Landry - 7% Calvin Ridley - 4% Courtland Sutton - 3% Arden Key - 1% Jan. 5, 2018 Niners will be picking either 9th or 10th (TBD). NOTE: I've eliminated QB and DT from the list, but added back in OT and S. I've also eliminated Bradley Chubb and Saquon Barkley as they are widely considered top-5 selections.

Fair enough. I plan on doing several of these. I envision some players coming onto and leaving the list as we go.

The Niners have to consider Chubb. I know, I know, he probably wont be there and theyve invested soo many picks in the Dline, but outside of Lawrence and some old or 2nd tier options DE options are thin this year in FA.

In this draft, I dont see a lot of safe picks at DE.

The safe aspect is the reason I prefer Smith over Landry. I totally understand. Maybe we trade the farm for Nick Bosa next year lol.

Maybe this is the best option. Find good DE prospects later this year but target CB, WR, oline early and in FA. Then target DE a premier DE again next year?

Even though OL and pass rusher are equal priorities IMO and there are up to three OL starters needed, I choose Landry. An effective pass rusher may be available to Lynch only in the draft and its first round. FA and one o.r more of the three picks in the second/third rounds can cure the OL.

I like Landry, Roquan Smith, Ridley, and Fitzpatrick.

Just not a fan of taking a guard in the 1st round. I know we are dogs**t on the OL, but this seems like something Lynch needs to address in FA.

There is a lot more talent available at OG and C than there is DE. And the price for a premier OG/C is less than a premier vet DE.

The problem is that Chubb may be gone by 9. It may turn out that the best move is still a trade down?

This, except I like Ferrell more than Landry. Landry's too small to play 3 downs for us, and Ferrell is underrated rn imo.

This draft is my worst case scenario, granted we would probably pick Roquan, if we lost the coin toss those are the 9 players going above us that would suck.
