1st Round Pick (2nd Poll, No Trade Downs)

No chance were taking Roquan IMO. Nelson, Landry, Jackson, or Ridley. One of them will be available.

At our position i really want joshua jackson unless nelson falls to us.
I think its entirely possible that they trade down to pick up a 2nd rounder.

Just like last year, some good players fall for various reasons

If they have equal grades for numerous say CB's or WR's that they think they can get a few picks later in round 1 they should trade down.

They did say they would build around Jimmy G so a G/OT or Wr are distinct possibilities. And I will never not like a oline position being picked and turning that unit into a strength = better running game = better play action passing game = better overall O.

Why no chance? Lol. If Landry checks out thats who i want. Doubt we get Lawrence/Ansah/Peppers.

None of those guys fit our scheme IMO anyway. I just think the team feels good about Malcolm Smith, he fits the scheme perfectly and I don't think we're going to invest a top 10 pick in a third LB. Not to mention our roster has holes at spots where we can get players of similar talent that will fill more immediate needs.

My personal choice (if Nelson isn't available) is Josh Jackson. I like Landry too but I think 9/10 is a bit high.

One more on the Josh Jackson bandwagon right here!!!! This kid is fluid, has the ideal size and has a good feel for the ball! My guess is we'll have or choice of Nelson or Jackson. Tough call but I'll go Jackson.

Ive definitely warmed up to Jax in a trade down...even if it's mini and gets us another 3rd and say a 4th/5th.
I picked Nelson because he looks like a Pro-Bowler for years to come. But don't sleep on Cleline Ferrell from Clemson, he could be the perfect LEO and the best pass rusher of the draft. He's very underrated, his play kinda reminds me of D.Lawerence of the Cowgirls.

This, except I like Ferrell more than Landry. Landry's too small to play 3 downs for us, and Ferrell is underrated rn imo.

I feel yah about Ferrell, he's very underrated IMO. He's my favorite EDGE in this draft. Davenport is second. Landry seems lazy sometimes and tends to take plays off.

I bet the house we aren't taking Sutton

Yup, WR is not an immediate need for us. Maybe we address that in FA and sign A.Robinson
Tough call between Nelson & Landry

I'll go Landry.
If it's between CB or WR, I hope we get a CB in the 1st.

I'm in the same boat.

Nelson, Ridley, Landry, Smith, Jackson and Fitzpatrick all might be in play and I wouldn't be upset if we choose any of them or even trade down, but the biggest bang for buck has to be Landry or even another edge rusher like Key/Davenport/Ferrell if one of them can give this team a true threat off the edge.

This defense is very close to becoming a damn good unit, but lacks that guy who can force the QB to step up in the pocket right into Buckner/Thomas.
