I think he could likely play 5 at his current weight, at 3 he'd have to bulk up, and at Leo he'd have to slim down. The last idea I wouldn't even entertain. Just a waste of his abilities.

It's tank all over again. You keep him where he's at because you know what you get.

Tank was asked to put on 20+ pounds after an acl injury and learn how to play in a completely new system. The two aren't even close.

LOL that's not even in the same realm...Tank coming off a ACL and asked to bulk up to almost 300 lbs.

Tank was damaged goods, Thomas is ready, locked and loaded.
I'm done overthinking this stuff. Give me the guy that plays with fire and rage in the trenches at 2.

No need to waste time even contemplating using the pick on a guy with arthritis in both shoulders, another whose ankle is on the precipice of shattering, or the poor baby whose mommy had to go and bring him back to the campus because the other players were being big meanies.

I don't care where you play as long as you can play. And this f**king guy can play.

I have never heard so much b***hing about a player so versatile.

His skill set is dominate and undeniable. The best defender in all of college football and better than half of the NFL pros today.

If we stay put he is the obvious pick because he is the most complete every down football player who is also ready to compete now.

I've said this for awhile now... If no Garrett or a QB (Trubisky/Watson), then we should take Thomas. All other possibilities would be disappointing to me.

i agree! doesnt matter where you play him. Hopefully we will never be in this position of drafting so lets take full advantage and get our JJ Watt.

I honestly think Solomon and Garrett will be like Clowney and Mack. Clowney gets all the attention from his freakish abilities while Mack stays under the radar and well...we all know how that is going now. Clowney is turning into a good player but hasnt lived up to the 1st overall billing while Mack has been playing at an all pro level since he came into the league
