Combine has him listed at 6023.
NFL.com draft profiles always round their numbers. 6023 is correct.

Any video's of Landry dropping back in coverage?

I think he could either play slot corner or win the FS job. I just don't think it gives us the best bang for the buck because I think Williams is at least ok at slot corner and we have a pretty good position battle with Colbert and Ward at FS already so while adding him makes us better it also doesn't plug up some glaring holes that we have.

Totally agree with this. To me, OG or ILB (with Foster's transgressions) are a far greater need than safety. Now, that being stated, I do not believe the Niners should draft Nelson at number 9 unless they really believe that he fits their scheme and that he is the best value for that pick. Personally, I would go after Roquan Smith....fills a big hole and really improves the overall defense.

Agreed. And i love Colbert's 4.3 speed. Williams graded really high at slot corner so I'm good with him as well. But I'm not against strengthening a strength, just maybe not in the first round.

I think as a rookie you put him at end and play him on passing downs. You want his focus to be on getting better as a pass rusher and try to develop him to be a DE, much like the Falcons did with Beasley in his rookie year. You re-evaluate after year one as to whether he should continue to be developed at end or moved to SAM in base and edge rusher in sub packages.

Draft Landry at 9 and Okoronkwo at 70. Both rush from the edge in their rookie years, and get increasing snaps in base as the season progresses (Landry at SAM/LEO, Okoronkwo at SAM). In 2019, you start Okoronkwo at SAM and Landry at LEO, and you have the baddest bookends in the the game. We'd have soooooo much speed off of the edge, and OBO could help Landry develop his inside counter (OBO has a couple, and his jab/chop is pure sexy sex). Thomas/Buckner/Armstead would FEAST w/QBs having to climb the pocket in a hurry.

Not against double dipping but may piss off others.

Can never have to many pass rushers.

Shoot, it's not double dipping if one's a SAM and one's a LEO, right? Riiiiiiiiight?

Go BPA G/CB at 59 and 74, and all the biggest roster holes are filled.

Colbert
Okoronkwo
Meeks

Be feeling pretty good heading into day 3.

Double Viagra
Oh, he good.

I posted this in the DJ top 50 thread but figured it belongs in here as well

Landry is a tough prospect just due to circumstances.

Really his circumstances are similar to what Myles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney and Joey Bosa as far as how their last season went. Injuries, double teams and a "down year"

The reason Landry is obviously not listed anywhere near those guys were IMO are partly due to his size concerns. Garrett, Clowney and Bosa have prototypical size for the NFL.

And also they had more consistency and impact seasons before coming out. But while Bosa went #3 overall his stock was definitely down from the year before where many thought he should just sit out the season and still go #1 overall.

People were down on Clowney a bit after his poor season but at the end of the day his size, prior performance and combine won out. Garrett's double digit sacks every season before his down year made him the easy pick for the Browns last year.

But point is I think because Harold doesn't have the same size or same instant impact the other guys showed he's being kind of a forgotten man but IMO he worked on his game so his improvement his junior season to ME shows a guy who worked on his craft and got better. Him having a down year to me is due to injury and double teams. I think if he stays healthy he's showing continued growth as a rusher...maybe doesn't have the same numbers due to the double teams but I believe he's someone who will work hard in the NFL to keep getting better.

That's why I'm high on the kid and don't care so much about where others have him.
